I'd like to know AJ Green with and without Jimmy. Hard to accurately measure because Jimmy wasn't always on the same side as AJ Green.

I went back and looked at this. Basically, Jimmy was on the field for pretty much every game he torched us. I didn't look to see if he was directly covering, but his presence alone didn't change much.

I looked at 2013-2018.

Green played us 8 times in that 6 year period. Averaged 6/95/1 on 10 targets.
Had three games over 130 yards, one 200+ yard game, and scored a TD in 6 of 8.
Jimmy was on the field for basically all of them.

Late 2017 Green went 2/17/0 when Jimmy was out of the lineup.
Week 1 2018, when Jimmy was suspended, he went 5/69/3.

2013-2015 (four games AJ played):
8/151/1
4/61/1
6/131/1
10/227/2

Jimmy started and played every single one of those games.

Jimmy Smith did well vs Green yes, but people forget he was actually the AB destroyer. He locked AB down nearly every single time. I recall maybe in 2014 or 15 Brown only had 2/3 games where he was held under some absurd threshold, and they were nearly all against Jimmy. He owned him

2013: AB went 6-50-0, and 5-59-0
2015 AB went 5-42-0, and 7-61-0 against Jimmy, and I recall Jimmy having 1 pick and 1 should have been pick 6.

Played all 16 in 2013 and 2015.
Technically he was healthy in 2017 and 2018. Didn't miss a game due to injury. He just missed 8 games across those seasons because of the PED usage.

He gets his fair criticism about availability, which ultimately hurt his career, but he did have four seasons where he never missed a game due to injury.

Edit: would also point out... he basically had three injuries from 2013 through 2018. He had the Lisfranc in 2014 that cost him 8 games + playoffs, he lost two games in 2016 for a back issue, and then had the high ankle sprain late in the year that cost him three games.

He had the achilles tear in 2017, but he was already suspended and didn't actually miss any games because of it.

I was at this game. Fast forward to the 12:15 mark. Bengals moved Green all over the field. He lined up closer to the slot on this play, and since Jimmy doesn't go into the slot, our answer was to flex Kendrick Lewis, a Safety, down, to cover one-one-one. It went exactly how it should have gone...

Jimmy played the entirety of this game. Even had a red zone INT when he was covering Green.
Steve Smith went 13/186/2 in this game, and he was the second best receiver on the field.
The best was Green, who went 10/227/2 on 13 targets.

This was 2015. Basically right in the middle of Jimmy's "prime". Also right about the time we lacked solid Corner play elsewhere, and right around the time the league decided it was pretty easy to beat our secondary if you just moved guys inside, because Jimmy wouldn't follow. Not a coincidence we drafted Marlon shortly thereafter.

I would love to know what is happening with the contract talks with Lamar? Are the two sides still so far apart and if so I wonder if the Ravens will look into other options or just use the franchise tag for next two years?

I think he will be signed next offseason if not before than, but if we do use a franchise tag it will most likely be negotiated into a long term contract. I feel we will go into the 2023 season with a long term contract.

Basically a microcosm of his career because he was one of the best corners in the league when healthy and on the field, but he was always missing time due to injuries and/or other issues.
