The 2022 Offseason Thread

You right, I started the Seymour hate. But that doesn't mean Bobby Jackson isn't even worse lol

tbf at least seymour's a good special teamer and has apparently been practicing pretty well (albeit always seems to end up on the wrong end of the highlight reel lol)

He is a good teamer! But every time he's played in regular season games, he's been toasted. He is just not an NFL CB beyond like CB6 or CB7

oh he 100% shouldnt be making this roster
that said he's a very different guy to a robert jackson who's a nobody we picked up off the street for a covid game while seymour's a legitimate nfl player (albeit on special teams and not at DB)

if he makes it, he makes it legitimately as DB 11 or 12 and a special teamer - the problem he will have in making that work for him is that at least 5 or 6 of the DBs ahead of him on the DB depth chart are also likely gonna be playing special teams and at least 2 or 3 of them are gonna be core special teamers

This is what I keep seeing about Seymour.

That means he's bad. Like a corner that can be somewhat effective in the short and intermediate areas but is constantly lost down field is an awful corner. Like Marlon is borderline elite and he gets crucified for how he plays routes downfield sometimes. And we all know Seymour is nowhere close to Marlon.

Would rather an all-pro center to eliminate the threat of interior pass-rush..............that is...........if I had to choose between a center or WR.
See im used to us always having serviceable centers but not so much wrs.. i feel like we couldve had tretter and say a guy like pickens… now we got linderbaum and hopefully proche

The only.time I remember The Ravens not having serviceable.wrs was probably in 2013 if not that year when Jeremy Maclin was apart of the team. The Ravens really having had legit serviceable center for more than one year since probably Matt Birk during Harbaugh era. That's a really long time
