For anyone who cares to read what many, many more people think of Hamilton compared to only two Hamilton diehards on here:

Looks like I’m not the only one unimpressed
1. Hamilton was bad yesterday. There's no denying it. I think some fans tend to extrapolate bad performances (even historically bad one's) as something that's not correctable or won't improve. I have no idea why they do that, but they do.
He is still a rookie. Regardless of where he's drafted or expectations, rookies fuck up a lot. If it continues to happen, I'm sure his snaps will diminish, because its not like John is afraid to bench guys who fuck up a lot.
But yes, me personally, I expected more from him. Especially when its seemingly more than just like one blown coverage.
2. I really don't get the Oweh disappointment. Like what were people expecting? Did they think no other coordinators in the league knew he's like the only pass rusher on the team?
I'm 99% certain that the general fanbase analysis of Oweh goes like this:
Did he get a sack?
a) No. Conclusion = he sucks balls
b) Yes. Conclusion = he's the next Terrell Suggs
Any sort of middle ground or anything involves contextualizing how difficult his job has to be for him right now appears to be critical thinking skills that most people don't have.
Like if I'm Oweh, I'm out here laughing. You think Lamar has a beef for not having any help? Look at the dudes lining up on the other side of him. Houston's playing more snaps than he should, and half the time he's rushing opposite Steven Means or (yikes) Malik Harrison, or Patrick Queen, or some guy that, in any sensible world, would maybe rush the QB like 4-5 times a game, at most.
And realistically, it's not going to get fixed in 2022. The setup is for 2023. When Bowser's back, and you got Ojabo. Those are guys who should, theoretically, make teams pay for double teaming Oweh. And we may draft more too.
