Packers poking fun at Rodgers Ayahuasca shenanigan's lol

As a shameless Hamilton apologist (sorry, @Sizzle), can anyone hook it up with an analysis on the two deep TD's where he was supposedly beat on both, because I thought JAD was supposed to pass it off to Stone and Hamilton really only fucked up on one deep third...

For anyone who cares to read what many, many more people think of Hamilton compared to only two Hamilton diehards on here: https://forum.russellstreetreport.c...235-Hamilton-has-been-so-disappointing/page24

Looks like I’m not the only one unimpressed
1. Hamilton was bad yesterday. There's no denying it. I think some fans tend to extrapolate bad performances (even historically bad one's) as something that's not correctable or won't improve. I have no idea why they do that, but they do.
He is still a rookie. Regardless of where he's drafted or expectations, rookies fuck up a lot. If it continues to happen, I'm sure his snaps will diminish, because its not like John is afraid to bench guys who fuck up a lot.
But yes, me personally, I expected more from him. Especially when its seemingly more than just like one blown coverage.
2. I really don't get the Oweh disappointment. Like what were people expecting? Did they think no other coordinators in the league knew he's like the only pass rusher on the team?
I'm 99% certain that the general fanbase analysis of Oweh goes like this:
Did he get a sack?
a) No. Conclusion = he sucks balls
b) Yes. Conclusion = he's the next Terrell Suggs

Any sort of middle ground or anything involves contextualizing how difficult his job has to be for him right now appears to be critical thinking skills that most people don't have.

Like if I'm Oweh, I'm out here laughing. You think Lamar has a beef for not having any help? Look at the dudes lining up on the other side of him. Houston's playing more snaps than he should, and half the time he's rushing opposite Steven Means or (yikes) Malik Harrison, or Patrick Queen, or some guy that, in any sensible world, would maybe rush the QB like 4-5 times a game, at most.

And realistically, it's not going to get fixed in 2022. The setup is for 2023. When Bowser's back, and you got Ojabo. Those are guys who should, theoretically, make teams pay for double teaming Oweh. And we may draft more too.

*gasp*…. That first thought might upset a few select individuals on the board…. Who said he’s done very good his first two games

Depends how you define bad. He was bad in the sense that he missed assignments but it’s not like the dude just can’t hack it from a physical or skill level. If these types of issues become consistent, we have a problem. But dude is 2 weeks into his rookie season. It’s absolutely foolish to be slamming the guy right now.

He was the 14th pick with “very limited” weaknesses, “best overall player in the draft”… ummm yeah very fair to be disappointed with what he’s offered

Then maybe your expectations are a little too high. Foolish to think any rookie is just going to come in and be as advertised from day 1. That’s far from the norm no matter the prospect. Very few actually do that.

According to PFF

“Rookie spotlight: Safety Kyle Hamilton was a bright spot in a seemingly gassed Ravens secondary. He assisted on three tackles in run defense and broke up the only pass into his coverage on 37 total snaps. He is on track to be Baltimore's highest-graded defender.”

I’m totally wrong on Hamilton. Definitely on his way to multiple all pros and pro bowls. My bad folks

My sincerest apologies for the opinions of myself and many, many others concerning Hamilton. We are all very wrong. I am sorry

I mean... I'm slamming him for blown coverages, because it contributed to a historic loss. I would just be slamming a veteran harder for it AND I'd be concerned more about if it were a veteran. Short term its an issue, but long-term its certainly fixable with development.

Don't let any of this though distract you from the fact that Marcus Williams is the fucking man
EDC special. Williams has been a ton of fun to watch so far. Keeps putting himself in the right place right time alot like Ed used to
