next time you are in Cincinnati or Kentucky, you have to have Graeters Ice Cream. It's all good but the best is anything with a chip, especially the Black Rasberry chip.
I have to get my wife Esther Price chocolates at least once a year or move out.

Just a question for those who called me a troll or dumbass for my widely held opinion on Hamilton sucking (RSR/105.7/regular fans not on this site)… how should I go about Hamiltons ineptitude Sunday? Completely ignore it and be oh so fine with it, tell the lie some on here are telling of he’s doing very good, or be honest about him?

RSR and 105.7 are never places to go to to be informed. You should know that just by who is on that show. lmao

he's a rookie, give him time and than make the call. HOF aren't made in a day and neither are busts. Anyone calling him a bust after this short amount of time is showing their lack of knowledge. You aren't a troll, but you do get a bit emotional and you have no gray area. None

No, but when it’s literally two opinions with help of loyal followers/conformists vs everyone else, does seem like those two are wrong

I was a big fan of Kyle Hamilton. He's won of my favorite players in the draft and at one point my favorite. He has and still has star potential, but to call him a bust for a couple missed tackles in the preseason when they are throwing the kitchen sink at him is ridiculous. Last couple games weren't as bad as they seemed, but definitely not great. His first half was very good. There were some mental miscues that contributed to the errors and those will be resolved.

Don't go to RSR or 105.7 though, that's absolutely ridiculous. Might as well go to Reddit. If it were up to RSR we would have traded Lamar a year or two ago or worse, never had started Lamar over Flacco.

A combination of the first and third. Be honest that he botched at least 1, likely 2, coverages that directly led to TDs, but also acknowledge that one game of issues isn't anywhere close to the stratosphere of projecting what he will look like a week from now, let alone years from now.

We see similar things in week 14 and it's been happening since, then the red flags are going up. Realistically, it'll never get to that, because if he's botching coverages like this for a few weeks that are leading to TDs, he won't be playing much, so it'll work itself out.

The problem you have is you're falling into the supremely retarded trap of taking the last thing you saw, and trying to extrapolate it to be a long term problem. The NFL rarely works that way, and its especially true with rookies. Thinking that Hamilton is a complete bust because he had a bad game (which I agree, he did) is the equivalent of suggesting that every good offense is going to score 40+ on us all year long, that we'll never improve, and that we'll get beat by literally every good team.

Again, real world rarely happens that way, and fans that think that way have an enormous track record of just being wrong.

and in terms of RSR/The Fan, the board members are right. Those posters and especially the people who call in are literally like the lowest possible intellectual fans on the planet. I promise you if you listen or read their content, you'll see the same thing from everybody... whatever you saw last game is who we are. Period. Doesn't matter what happened days, weeks, months before that. Whatever you saw last is who we are. Whether its good, bad, or average. Doesn't matter.

In my opinion, there's no less intellectual way to be a fan of a team or be a football fan than that mentality. I'd rather have the eternal optimist or the eternal pessimist. They at least respect sample sizes. They're all idiots, but at least the latter group takes a stance. These guys just change their opinion on a weekly basis based on which way the wind blows.

he also didnt have a bad game - he had 1 awful rep and 1 rep where he had the wrong responsibility through miscommunication - that's not to absolve him of those 2 poor plays - but it doesnt erase the other 40 snaps from Sunday where he played well...

OK. I guess we disagree then. I understand the thought of like "well he played two bad snaps out of 40" or whatever it was, but the mistakes made were extremely critical mistakes that had dramatic impacts on the game. Not every snap or assignment is equal. One bad snap can easily overshadow 20,30,40 good one's. Happens all the time.

right sure - but that's a largely pointless way of looking at the game when we're thinking about the development of a young player
the critical mistake is not more indicative of future play than the other good plays

hamilton's getting crucified by fans who've not got access (or dont want to access) the all-22 - but he's getting plaudits (outside of those 2 plays) from everyone who's watching the all-22 and even grading out well despite those 2 busts...

I think its a valid way to look at the game, but agree its pointless to project forward. Hence why I've suggested one game is not an indication of future issues.

And I have no doubt in terms of total snaps he was fine. But the snaps he botched are weighted heavier based on the outcome of the plays. If those passes go for incompletions, his evaluation is probably different.

End of day, it's the NFL. Grades are great, but everybody is mostly evaluated on pass/fail.

I heard this but I missed out! I spent Saturday morning driving to the Buffalo trace distillery and then had to speed back to make the wedding

You said hamilton sucks, he made some mistakes in the second game of his career, I guess you were right, he sucks. Here’s that recognition you so desperately wanted for your prediction. Good job man, you’re so awesome.

Vinny cerrato legit can’t read half the time and every linemen he ever sees “CANT BEND HIS KNEES” and that’s his entire evaluation.
