Bateman was well open before andrews though.. i think most qbs for sure wouldve gone to bateman instead. That bateman pass would actually be super easy..

but andrews was open before the snap - before he even ran the route, purely based on the alignment of the defender and the coverage he was open - he had a crosser vs a DB with seemingly outside leverage, no one in the middle of the field and a deep single high safety - no QB in the league even thinks twice about passing up that read especially with andrews as the 1st in the progression

Not me. I was mocking andrews for our first round pick lol
I had him as a TE with 1st round talent that would probably be drafted in the 2nd round. In the end we got lucky and now have him signed at a very reasonable price. Thank god he didn't wait until the offseason to sign an extension.

I searched my mocks from 2018 and didn’t see it. I legit think this one was a repost cuz I remember talking about TE value at 16 and I ended up changing my mock. I see a lot of us were high on andrews though
the 2018 draft forum was a mess (you can see the scars of it in the pinned post) - lots of stuff got moved around because a load of stuff broke/went wrong i think
