I see Pierce has a torn biceps. That has to be a tough injury to play with. I believe Ray played with that injury during our Super Bowl run. I guess it is not season ending but not sure how long the recovery is for that injury. I am not sure if a Nose Tackle can be that effective with any injury like that. We may have to shelve him for some games.

Think Ray had a triceps injury and I think Pierce is unfortunately done for the year. Damn shame.

I don't think he's leaving. He's still very productive. He's staying. I think the entire front office loves him and knows what he brings to the team. He is a true Ravens and team first guy.

Peters seriously matured here. Before us he had a bad reputation as a selfish, do whatever he wants prick. Now he’s a team first leader

Can we at least attempt to be less toxic in here? It didn't used to be like this. It's so confusing why you'd make a Ravens message board your place to attack people or constantly play a victim. Both sides should just get over themselves.

For most of this site's life we've had a really strong community which has made it the most fun place to be. Let's get back to that.

Yeah, he may be out for the year, hinges on when he decides to have the surgery to repair it.

I meant I did not like Tua as a QB, I love Lamar as a QB. He has a great arm, dynamic playmaker, and generally makes good decisions. If I were to force a criticism of Lamar it is that he has the all too common problem of if you hit him once or twice that decision making and form gets a lot worse quickly but again that is true for most QBs (especially the GOAT Brady).

The reason I would give it to Tua is that while they have comparable numbers with Lamar being slightly better the opponents for Tua are more impressive. The Dolphins have beaten the 2 best teams in the AFC to be undefeated and that deserves the extra nudge to me. MVP is not just best player otherwise Rodgers would have 10-12 of them by now for when he was by far the best player in the NFL for years, the opponents beaten and overall team record have to come into play so the undefeated Dolphins who have played a tough opener get that nod for me.
I misread your post completely. Thought you said you didn't like Lamar as a QB. My bad and i'm not a Tua fan either.

Thank you for writing this. The personal attacks from some ruin the fun and in the past turned away many that would contribute to the good nature and camaraderie of the board. They seem to pop in and out to spew their BS writing walls of text, disguising it as some “informed” opinion.

While the ignore feature is useful on a personal level it doesn’t block the crap from everyone. Someone should really do something to ban the repeat offenders.

I'd like to have a conversation on Devin Duvernay and I'm wondering if we all are undervaluing him. I know to this point this season, we have been pretty surprised by Duvernay's play. I know we are all happy with him and believe he can be a good third option in our offense, but I'm wondering if he could be a good WR2. I'm not saying he isn't our 3rd option, but the point of the discussion is if he could be a WR2.

He's had 8 receptions on only 8 targets. Averages 15.1 yards per reception and has a total of 121 yards on the season, with 3 receiving TDs. His route running has gotten better although he does have his limitations, but the routes we have him running he does very well and doesn't drop the ball.

I think he is our WR2 and see no reason that will change anytime soon. Duv has been a pleasant surprise!

Do I think by the greater NFL standards can he be a WR2 this year? Probably not. But he has shown an enormous jump this year so who is to say that he doesn't keep improving especially as he's getting a much larger number of snaps. Maybe in the next couple of years. You'd likely expect the Ravens would want to resign him once his contract is up due to his return ability.
