Proche actually does play he just doesn't get targeted or involved that much in the offense. I guess it makes sense with Lamar out
This is untrue. He had less than 5 snaps I think in 2 of the last 3 games. And even earlier in the season he's been very low snap count.

Proche played 4 snaps in last game against The Steelers and played 13 snaps against The Bronco's . Your original post made it seem like he wasn't getting snaps at all on the field.

Low offensive snaps first 4/5 weeks, saw uptick against Cincy which I presume was because Bateman was out.
Huge snaps against Tampa because of injuries, then settled off into the 15 snaps per game/range in November.
Would imagine the higher snap counts against JAX/DEN may have been product of scoreboard/Ravens trailing for large portions of it.

In a run heavy game plan, where we're leading most of the game, I wouldn't expect him to play much.

Would also point out that the Tampa game was the only game where he saw more than 2 targets. He's seen a combined 6 targets the last five games, including none against Pittsburgh.

Bottom line... he's the 4th target, at best, in a passing game that has a backup QB and doesn't want to throw a lot regardless of QB.

it's a screenshot of a play mid-play...

might as well just post a screenshot of a pre-snap bunch set and talk about sPaCiNg - maybe it sucked on this play but without actually showing us the route or the concept it's meaningless lol - and without him telling us when this happened he makes it very difficult to go and check it ourselves...

Well you have 2 receivers almost on top of each other and a 3rd heading in the same direction. Receiver 4 which is at the bottom is also heading into the direction

The receiver in question that is trailing D Rob is Justice Hill.

Andrews is moving in the general direction of the 2 headed dragon technique by D-Rob and Justice. There is absolutely nowhere for Hill to run because if he breaks right he runs right into Andrews who even if he stops on a dime is right there. He could possible break towards the sideline without any space and that's assuming he can stop on a dime with such little space.

On this play you sent 2 RBs and 2 TEs out on routes.

This board always knew his true potential would be at SS.

and last year Andrews and Hollywood were allowed to freelance.
Right, to be clear... its mostly on Roman, because this happens way too often for it to be "just freelancing" and I've not heard that any other receivers have the ability to "freelance" like Andrews does.

But the only way anybody is ever going to know exactly what the issue is involves a) knowing the exact play call and b) knowing what the actual route tree is supposed to be.

I find it a little comical that so many people agree that the WR core is trash, but somehow think that its impossible that a trash receiving core could run wrong routes, not have proper spacing in their assignments, etc.

I think these "fuck ups" are situational.

Only question I have is who's fault is it... OC or WRs themselves?
Well if it happens week after week, year after year, and the on field results speak for themselves… there’s one constant here.

Yeah this might theoretically work with a guy like Bateman who is just gonna shred a lot of the man coverage he has to face and he’s gonna find wide open spaces, but we don’t have that guy and we need to create space now, schematically.

Bruh.. we playing with 10 dudes? Greg Roman sitting in the booth for what?

Excited to see how a select few will defend this one
