The Awful, The Run Defence and The Offence

The only difference is that Harbaugh lucked into Lamar. If Fisher had the same luck he'd still be coaching too.

Do we really need another terrible Harbaugh OC hire or another Groundhog Season?

Was gifted a team led by Ray and Ed. Rode their coattails to a ship.

Missed playoffs 4 out of the 5 seasons after they’re gone. Then got gifted Lamar and rode him into a extension.

Be a damn shame if we let Lamar go and Harbs stay

Are the Ravens allowed a no-show for the Bengals game? We are going to be so embarrassed by the Bengals, I shudder to visualize it.
There's nothing the Ravens are playing for so honestly they could just throw in backups and not really care about the results. Pretty much no-showing.

Damn you can’t even be hurt and supporting your teammates on the sideline no mo lol
Well I was in a foul mood watching us play a noodle arm quarterback that could not throw the ball accurately more than 15 yards. So if you can stand there for three hours and jump up and down at times, maybe you could put a brace on your knee and go throw the ball down the field for us, maybe it is a bad look to some of us, who are wondering if it has anything to do with holding out because your team won’t give you what the Browns gave DW. Yeah, it was frustrating for me watching that game last night.

Everyone sees it. John just needs to go. He just can’t pick coordinators. And when they are crappy coordinators, he sticks by em for years and waste our roster. We just need a fresh start

Honestly this is legit the worst Roman has been as a play caller. Calling Roman a crappy coordinator like as if he has been that for the majority of his coaching career as a Raven is a stretch. How does a coordinator that wins offensive assistant of the year(please for the love everything don't say that was all LJ) and then has a offense that was ranked I believe 6th overall in the league in 2021 translates to John Harbaugh not being able to pick coordinators?

Honestly the big talk about Roman was all about how his passing schemes sucked before the 2021 season even started and The Ravens passing game was ranked 13th overall after the season was over but fans still wanted him gone. We can preach that John Harbaugh stuck by Roman for too long but honestly we cant argue that their was some good results during the time span. After The 2019 season Ravens fans said The Ravens wouldn't be able to win a play off game with Roman calling the plays then in 2020 when The Ravens did win a playoff game; Ravens fans said well Roman passing scheme is too elementary . In 2021 when the passing scheme ended up being ranked 13th overall after it was ranked I believe 30th Ravens fans still wanted Roman fired. Now its 2022 and the offense is probably playing the worst we have ever seen passing scheme wise it's suppose to clearly be obvious the Harbaugh can't pick coordinators as if Roman has just been like this for the passed four years or so

Yeah if your goal is being average then you make a great case. Last year we were ranked 6th in yards per game and 17th in points per game, guess which one of those metrics are more important?

Up until that year The Ravens were ranked 1st in points per game in 2019 and 9th in points per game in 2020. So a head coach that already previously saw his coordinator have his offense ranked in the top 10 in points per game in 2019 & 2020 settled to be to be average cause he stuck with Roman after the offense ranked 17th in points per game in 2021? I guess you can say that's settling to be average but I think as a head coach there's probably some trust in the coordinator to improve those numbers going in 2022 after looking at the success in 2019 and 2020

So, the moral of this story is that coordinators regress too. Roman has regressed big and currently is horrible as a play caller.

Pretty typical ravens/Steelers game. The difference was Huntley and the passing game. When you have a QB who can’t throw the ball more then 15 yards and WR’s who scare no one, it’s pretty easy to game plan against them. The 6 man fronts were laughable, but very effective. Although Dobbins still had 93 yards rushing. We should have had open receivers all over the field. Add to that our D looked like shit against the run. I think that was Harris’s first 100 yard game.

I smell a blowout against the bengals unless Lamar plays.

That's the knock on Roman is that he will be good for a season or two maybe three and that's it. How come it's the same issues that come up on every team he goes to? His situational play calling sucks. He always has communication issues. He doesn't adjust game plans, Red Zone scoring issues etc.

All you have to do is look up his history with his previous teams to see it's just the same issues time after time with him.

This is from a previous article:

In 2013, the San Francisco 49ers were penalized 13 times for delay of game, the most in the league. In 2014, the San Francisco 49ers were penalized eight times for delay of game, sharing the top spot with the St. Louis Rams and Washington.

In 2015, the Bills are second in the league for the penalty with four called, behind four other teams who have been dinged five times. One could argue Greg Roman is the common element.

Penalties are not the only thing people associate with the negative of this offense. Counters, runs up the gut, and draws on 3rd and long seem to have carried over from Greg Roman's time in San Francisco. Don't forget the inability to convert in the red zone for several games.

Now with the Bills:

It all goes back to an issue that haunted the team last season.

With Roman calling the plays, Buffalo has not shown the ability to consistently convert third downs and sustain drives. In 2015, the Bills converted on 86 of their 227 third-down chances, a 37.9-percent rate, which was No. 21 in the NFL.

I can go on and on pasting the same from other articles. It's a cycle with this guy at this point. He has to go or we will continue seeing the same mediocre team.

Sorry for the long post lol.

People really think harbaugh is a bad coach? Lol man yall dnt know what a bad head coach is at all. Just imagine being a fan of a different team other than bills, kc and steelers the past few yrs.
Harbaugh is fine, Roman is ass, and MM is either a baby that has a lot of growing up to do or he is also ass

Well the common denominator over the last two seasons is the defense cannot hold a lead under Harbaugh. This is under Wink and now MM, two different DC's with different defensive schemes.

The defensive problem is clearly on Harbaugh.

Yeah I just really disagree with this. Firstly, Harbaugh doesn't run the defense. Secondly, last year was historically bad injuries on both sides of the ball. Abd somehow despite that, when Lamar was in we were still winning almost everything. Once Lamar got hurt we weren't blowing double digit leads, we were constantly trying to overcome defecits.

I'll agree the defense has been ass for 2 years but the defense has really never been bad under Harbaugh. It's been bad for 2 years because of injuries and this new guy not understanding NFL situational play calling at all
