sorry, but watching those longer pass attempts last night by Huntley, I came to the conclusion that he either has the worst noodle arm of any current NFL quarterback or he is playing with an injury. IMHO, No OC can fix what I witnessed Last night.

Why would he leave the Vikes, though? Also Caldwell is unemployed.
he won't leave there and the Vikings would keep him. That being said, with Lamar, Klint could do better than Cousins. Cousins is so infuriating. Especially when you have had him in fantasy football. lol
No way we are bringing Caldwell back. He had a clutch run that year due to Flacco, Pitta and Q having one hell of a playoff run.

I would definitely try him out if Lamar doesn’t play. Huntley played horrible.

He was also pretty damn good in Detroit. That's the reason why he left. Who says Lamar, Andrews, and JK can't do that?

I agree. Utah had a very Qb-friendly offense. Brown's talent isn't sugarcoated, Huntley's is. Brown can thrive here.

good point, they absolutely can do that, but I'd rather get one of the young coordinators from Shanahan, Reid or McVay's system rather than Caldwell. Of course it would have to be below OC level or else it's a lateral move, like Johnson, the QB coach of the Eagles.

No half decent OC would want to lateral to us. I would think that maybe Caldwell could be interim for the rest of the season, and then mentor one of Shannahan's coaches next year.
I think we need to keep Macdonald next year and give him another year to grow with the players he has. Sometimes it has to be the players and the execution was just bad yesterday. Even Roquan Smith was bad in coverage yesterday. The only player who was good in coverage was Humphrey and they were running right up the middle on us. Shame Campbell was out yesterday, because that is where we lost the game.
it's not going to be a lateral move, because any team would be able to block a coordinator under contract.
That being said, I seriously doubt they would have any issues moving laterally to us with Lamar Jackson as the QB, if they could. They can't so it's useless even discussing it.
I like Frank Reich as a coordinator and feel he would be the perfect for Lamar. It wasn't that long ago he brought Carson Wentz and Nick Foles to the Super Bowl and won the game. He was the coordinator with the team.

Humphrey wasn't targeted once. Also, Macdonald is just getting better, and I think keeping him is a good idea.
