I hear what everyone says about John Harbaugh. Honestly, I think he has done a good job for us. But there are a few things that bother me enough, that I think it's time to say sayunarah. And it's nothing new, it's things that he's been criticized for before.

You can't really argue away the clock management yesterday at the end of the game. If you are going to be aggressive, stop the clock and get a play in that the players can prepare for... especially the 2nd string QB who looked in that last series like he had developed the shakes. There was no urgency to get to the line, so the clock was used as if it was a silent TO. To me that's just a waste. It didn't really matter if we scored in one play and gave the ball back to them, the DEF had been great - and earlier in the year the argument from some on here about going for it on 4th and 1 or 2 was fine, that if it fails you have to expect that your DEF can hold them. It seems like circular logic from some. I say take the TO's and have guys set and ready.

The other thing that rubs me wrong is the presser yesterday and him specifying Huntley was supposed to go low. There was nothing there either, btw, but ok.... Why say it? I take that as throwing Huntley under the bus. Sorry, but I do. He didn't need to point that out. Did it slip? Did he respond in the fog/heat of the moment, maybe. Who knows. That knowledge in that situation didn't need to be divulged. I don't think it was an accident tho. I don't know that he said it with purpose, but by saying it, the result is - for the moment - it takes responsibility off of him and his OC. I just don't think you call out a player like that. Maybe in private after a game or in the film room with the team, but not in a presser after what sure seemed was an upset in the making.

Which leads me to the last thing - he talks too much. In trying to address things - Lamar's injury, etc. - it's like he's trying to be nice by explaining but that it instead blows up on him. About Lamar, just say, he's injured, he'll play when he's available, then button your lip. About the leap attempt, we were really confident that play was going to work. Instead, shade on Huntley.

I'm ready for a change in both HC and OC, especially if the decision is to give Lamar a historic contract. I admire Dobbins for speaking up about his use, but I think that too is a remark against confidence in the HC. What has happened in the last month is eerily reminiscent of the last days of Brian Billick.
If we get rid of harbaugh, prepare for a disaster..

I mean we still played pretty well with him getting 12 carries. I understand he wanted the ball more but its not like our offense was dead while he wasnt getting the ball

But he didn't get the ball at the most crucial part of the game in the RZ. Where our percentage is second worst in the league. He has a reason to be pissed. Is like yeah JK we know you got our first TD so we won't give you anymore touches in the RZ. Just stupid stupid decisions.

Honestly, I would never want to be a HC. You get criticized regardless lol. Don't go for it on 4th down, criticized. Go for it on 4th down, criticized. Say something and be honest with the media and say Huntley should've gone low, criticized. Say nothing about it, criticized. I have to give it to any head coach who has done this for a while. You have to have the thickest skin ever.

Actually you want my opinion? I think the NFL would be better with a Play Designer and a Play Caller. Hear me out but some guys just do a great job designing plays but are shit play callers. You also have some guys who can call plays like the best of them but cannot design worth a damn. I think this is the way TBH. Get someone to design your plays and someone to call them. Probably a radical idea we are years and years away from, maybe not even the best idea, but F it.

Why? We need to get off the Harbaugh is a good guy thought. He's been very mediocre, 1 playoff win in 11 yrs is really bad. He sticks way too long with bad coordinators, his time management sucks.. I think we need a philosophical change even of it comes with the road bumps
With the teams weve had, idk if anyone couldve done better. We complain now, get rid of harbaugh and see what happens. Im telling you, teams around lg, wish they had a harbaugh. Mfs running through 3 head coaches in 5yrs. Harbaugh will have a job 5 mins after he is fired.

I like that.. makes a lot of sense. I wouldnt be surprised if teams are already doing it. I think maybe bb and mcdaniels couldve been doing something similar to thats.. eric and andy also.

This game had at it all. A true representation of the Ravens season.

Inability to score in the RZ
Critical RZ turnovers
Untimely penalties
Bad snap
Proche dropping critical late game passes
Mismanagement of our personnel
Not sacking QB in critical spots when we could
Playing really soft defense (only first half)
Not being able to effectively run no huddle
Lamar being injured
Being competitive, even winning and blowing it
Stupid situational playcalls
WRs not being open literally ever
Misuse of clock and TOs particularly
The list goes on

Don't forget the good:

Killer run plays that gashed the defense for some nice yards
Critical conversions
Fluke plays that should've been negative plays that ended up being a critical conversion
Eye-popping deep throw that was completed

And some more bad:
Bad calls from the referees that shouldn't be called
Bad no-calls from the referees that should've been called
Bad football bounces that did not go our way (fumble out of bounds)

It honestly felt like we tried to defy our destiny and nearly came close to achieving it.

Whoah. Huntley played really well
Wasn't it Huntley that turned the ball over 2x; both resulting in scores and the last was a 98-yard fumble recovery run for the game-winner?

Lol and if he gets another job seconds after being let go good for him. We need a complete philosophical change that starts with him. We keep playing coordinator carousel and I think it's time for a change at the top. Let's not ignore the fact that this team has 1 playoff win in 11 yrs I don't care about other teams. He was great but the game has evolved and he is not great anymore. It happens

Will you guys be ok with Harbs of he keeps Roman?

It has been their Achilles heel the entire season. That's a ton to overcome. Oh well, black trash bags time.

No, I won't be OK if he keeps Roman but I also admit I don't know it all nor do I have the hubris to assume what I think is always right. That said, I still think it's time for Gro2Go. I think also Harbaugh must and believes the same thing. Don't forget people said the same thing about Wink last year, and surely he did go.

The lone bright spots of this game were the fact that JK looked like he was basically almost BACK. Also Oweh out together a lot of good pressures and got home twice using speed into power which we haven't seen him do successfully really all this year.
