What's wrong with upgrading at backup, let alone someone who potentially knows the OC? Unless you want to stick with Huntley's noodle arm and sitting there saying we would have won with Lamar again.

Nothing wrong with upgrading the back up. Just not sold Bennett is the guy or even belongs in the NFL.

Yeah. He's already physical maxed out, small, and doesn't have an NFL arm. He could be a decent enough backup due to being smart with the ball, but there's better potential options

That doesn't explain how Likely suddenly was good enough to get open whenever Andrews was out - games where he'd be getting more attention from the defense than usual.
It was a Roman thing.

Wow. This seems so odd to be considering a lateral move. Definitely something going on behind the scenes that are scaring teams away from making this guy a head coach. Maybe it really is all Reid with the play calling

Yeah, as much as it would be awesome to have him in the job, I just don't see it happening when there are still HC positions available. And even if they all fill out with others, I haven't heard anything to suggest that he wouldn't be welcomed to re-up with the Chefs.
Rumor is that he wants all play calling duties because he feels that’s what holding him back from a HC job. He’s not getting that in KC.
