Update: Welcome to B-More, Jeremy Maclin!

Injuries/surgery. I have a feeling they'd rather give a chance to younger but healthy player.

The problem is there are limited options that exist. Outside of us trading for Landry or DGB, the other trade options are Williams on the Jags or Watkins and both have had their injuries. I'd love Inman but I don't know that the Chargers would trade him.

Maclin and Decker became available and we need to seize one of them. If nothing else, it increases our receiver count capable of catching the football by 50% right off the bat. The more I think about it, the more I'd prefer Decker over Maclin.

I think Maclin can be a possibility. I believe he wants to visit the Ravens first. Rather have him than Decker. But if he signs with buffalo, I wouldn't mind taking decker second.

Glad to see the wr market opening up!

the fact that he's seeing us tomorrow give me optimism. We tend to sell better than anyone

Same here. Ozzie and Harbaugh are the best closers in the business. Only issue is the contract but I have a feeling Ozzie and Maclin's agent have at least gone back and forth on numbers as to what Buffalo is offering. I think Ozzie has a plan in place to offer Maclin a reasonable contract.

I would kinda prefer Decker as I think he's a better fit for Flacco, but I certainly won't complain about Maclin.

Maclin doesn't leave Baltimore, he goes down for the year in training camp, decker has a 1000 yard season elsewhere.

One thing about the Ravens and our organization is that, I have read that most players who visit us, love the franchise. They talk about how welcomed they felt vs how welcomed they felt while visiting other teams. I know for some, that's doesn't trump money or chances of winning a ring, but it's something, especially if at the last franchise you were at, you were treated like crap.

An example would be Mike Wallace from last year. He had a visit planned with another team and we wouldn't let him leave without signing a contract.

We got that charm city, charm. Sometimes respect and appreciation comes a long way.
