I was about to ask why anyone would invent a one note story about a big boat sinking, then I remembered those 70s disaster movies. Did no one realize how tasteless they were at the time?
I say that, having never seen any of them, or Titanic either for that matter.

Saw an article today about travel times this season. I knew it was going to be big, but we're 6th in total mileage for the season. Guess who travels the least? Cincy, of course...

Towering Inferno, Earthquake, Airport 75, Hindenburg
Saw them all and they were good movies for the time. Liked Airport 75 the best of those four.

I totally get that. I was never like that in the day, but now that my kids are going - and paying crazy prices too for general admission because that's what they can afford, the whole "crowd crush" has me concerned for their safety.

FYI this is basically everyday in the Marine Corps if anyone is interested in joining.
Was grabbing some food at a restaurant over the weekend and NFL Network was replaying the 2008 AFC Championship game between us and the Steelers. If reliving the loss wasn't enough, reliving that Fabian Washington and Frank Walker were our starting CBs is what really put me over the edge.

Fabian was pretty good in Madden tho; he had like a 98 speed rating lol
Walker may have been the worst starting CB we've ever had. Dude was constantly getting flagged for PIs and giving up huge plays

What did you think of The Poseidon Adventure?
how could I forget that one. Very well done, although I was 5 or 6 when it came out, so I had to see it later on TV, unlike the others ones that I saw in the theater.
