The Hamilton, The Injuries and The Self-Inflicted Wounds

Yes they do. I'll give you two examples that I can think of off the top of my head:

1) In 2014, Big Ben threw for 6 TDs against us on SNF and won 43-23. The following game? Their offense played like hot garbage against the Rex Ryan-coached Jets. Didn't even score 20 in that game.

2) Last season, the Chiefs beat the Chargers on TNF in week 2, 27-24 (look at that, same score as our week 2). The following game in week 3? They ALSO lost to the Colts 20-17.

My point is, games like this happen from time to time and unfortunately, we were one of the latest examples (the Cowboys too). At this point, I'm more concerned about the list of injured players just continuing to grow.
Beating Pitt in Pitt for that playoff win was a thing of beauty.

Can’t believe we didn’t get a home call at the end there. The amount of times I see that flag fly when it’s the Ravens after a 4th down stop
This brought back all of yesterdays rage cause you're right and it feels like we've been on the wrong end of this call way too many times.
I wouldn't trust the backs either. Neither of the remaining guys have had enough time to learn what we do and how.
Gordon has been here but yeah. I was holding my breath every time he touched the ball.
There's a shit ton of "what if" plays where we should have won yesterday. Just a bunch of instances where players didn't execute basic
plays.
Execution was awful on offense after that 2nd possession.
Did anyone explain what happened there?
It was low, but it seems if Lamar was looking for the ball he would have had no problem receiving it.
This one is on the center. Lamar wasn't even looking at him when he snapped the ball and seemed to be in the middle of adjustments.

I truly believe if there had been a gap between Lamar and Joe, Tank would view Lamar more favorably, but he's not giving Lamar any benefit for replacing his Joe.
loved Joe. For now, he'll go down as the second best QB to ever play for us. But objectively, Joe was definitely more inconsistent and just overall worse than Lamar by a considerable amount

thats not enough nor good

Bowser alone accounted for 7 sacks the last year he was healthy. Good is subjective here but they are significant upgrades to what we had for most of the game.

Harbs just took responsibility for not relaying the correct information to Zay prior to his fair catch. Respect

Tucker could have just made the 61 yarder too
Ever since Tucker missed the 67 yarder against Jacksonville, something I've always wondered. Yes 61 yarders have always been easy for him but... why not try to draw the opponent offside for a closer kick? I hate the offense puts Tucker in these long range kicks every game but we can at least help out with a little outcoaching.

A 56 yarder would have won us the game, a 62 yarder would have won it against Jacksonville last year. Harbs should try to help out Tuck if the offense isn't willing to.

If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it...

You can't have it both ways. Last week when we went into Cinci (with injured players out) and beat them, some of you cats were happy in here. And now, that we lost to the Colts (with injured players out...again), some of you are quick to spout off the injuries issue for the Ravens' offensive struggles yesterday. That is no excuse! The Raven's offense had every opportunity to put that game away yesterday; hobbled and all but they were inept and ineffective. Something that we are all too familiar with seeing. As far as the injuries? It's the usual suspects and none of us should be surprised at this point. Based on how they played at home yesterday, I can easily see the Ravens falling to 2-3 after their back-to-back road trips vs. the Browns and the Steelers; which both won yesterday and are also 2-1. :brickwall:
