Jacobs has never averaged at least 5 yards per carry in his career and is slogging through a god awful 2.9 this year as opposed to Henry’s 4.3, which isn’t amazing, but at least the latter can do more with less volume
Right but that's on a 7 game sample size behind one of the worst Olines, and offenses, in football.
How did 2022 look comparatively?

I’m not really finding any glaring differences lol. Jacobs had .6 more yards per carry. The eye test says that Henry is the better back, by far, anyways. And it’s not like Tennessee’s offense is worlds better

OK, but if efficiency is a concern for Jacobs, then it has to be a concern for Henry. In which case I would just look at who's financially cheaper, who's younger, and who's got less wear on them.

And then I'd balance that against the differences in trade values.

Ultimately I don't think we'd trade for either of them, so its probably moot. I'd also generally be terrified of watching Henry in a zone read situation.

It wasn't that hard to do in January in Baltimore. Think people make this stuff a bit more complicated than it is.
He went for 195 at 6.5 yards a clip. I’d say we struggled

wrong game. Was actually in TEN.

Playoff game in Jan 2021 (for 2020 season). Henry had 40 yards on 18 carries. In 35 degree weather in Nashville.

Not sure tackling him at 15-20 degrees is dramatically different than tackling him at 35 degrees. But it wasn't an issue.

I don't think Henry the player is the question. I think it's Henry and the fit. If we did acquire him, I think he'd be an upgrade regardless, but ultimately still kind of repetitive with Gus.

Pretty much. And the cost of acquiring him.
We'd need to do contract restructures to fit in anybody of note anyway (or give up more in a trade to get them to eat the cost). Restructures = more cap taken from next year to pay for this year.

Totally disagree. I'd rather have Jacobs here for the scheme fit, but I can't imagine he would be cheaper in terms of trade assets.
In terms of comp...
Henry would cost $6.2M if acquired today, and Jacobs would cost $4.4M.
You could try to convince those teams to pay a good chunk of the remaining salary, however that would just require better assets going back.

Main reasons I think Jacobs would be more expensive is a) he's considerably younger, b) Henry has a TON more historical usage, and c) Jacobs has been the better overall player for the last two seasons, though neither has been particularly effective this year.
I'm hearing the Titans want atleast a 2nd in trade compensation for Henry.
