crazy how the Steelers have had less yardage than their opponents every game this year and still have 6 wins. (first time in history through 9 weeks) Got to hand it to them that they are clutch in the right moments.

At some point, the Steelers will be due some crazy regression. We kinda saw it in the Jacksonville game, I expect more of that down the stretch.

Twenty five times. I personally don't see an objective argument for allowing this type of collision that outweighs its downsides. Coming from a football, wrestling and rugby background, the prospect of deliberately using my hips or knees to spike into the opponent's unprotected legs is unfathomably feral. It's a simulation of the OL roll-ups except with both targets moving and one intending to fall onto extremities. I'm praying it's outlawed within the next two seasons.
I'm pretty sure it will be outlawed this offseason. I'll be disappointed if it isn't.
It should be known as the Logan Wilson Rule.
Maybe the Browns should try and sign Joe Theismann. I hear he still wants to play.

With the season-ending injuries to both Watson and Burrow, this shit starting to scare me. Last time we were 8-3, we lost the following game and Lamar was basically out for the season.

yesterday was a weird paradox of relief where it will be way easier to win the AFC north (win and Joe injury) but also a lot harder to beat the chiefs without mark
As someone who didn't know Ravens pre 2010, what was the general view of him around 2009/2010? He had 25 TDs and 10 picks, and 3.6k yards in '10. those are great numbers, did people think he was going to continue to develop into a full elite guy? or did people then think 2010 was his ceiling?
I was in high school in 09-10 but was an avid fan even then. I think the general consensus was that Flacco was more of a game manager type that was carried by the defense and a strong run game. I want to say some thought he could fully advance to the “elite” tier of QBs but he never really had that wow factor or took over games at this point.
I personally always liked Flacco because I was used to guys like Chris Redman, Kyle Boller but I still never seen him as an elite guy.

I graduated high school in 09 and started with the Kyle Boller era really. Joe was cool, had some doubts early bc of how he performed in the playoffs. All he had to do was not fuck up lol.
That changed after a few years in the league, something just changed him in the playoffs.

At the time I had him rated in the Top 10 but never thought he was a Top 5 QB and I always had him rated higher than Matt Ryan lol. Injuries really derailed his career and he wasnt very mobile in the 1st place but he could avoid pressure.
