So I'll preface this by saying some of you have a weird fascinating with TV analysts and commentators. I can genuinely say I've never really given a fuck who calls the game, and I don't frequently even pay attention to what they say.

That being said... Jason Garrett has literally no personality. He gets excited about nothing. Guy could be getting a hummer from two Maxim top 10 chicks and he'd just be doing a crossword puzzle in silence. He genuinely doesn't want to be there.

Collinsworth at least gets excited about some things. And yes, all the analysts have biases towards certain teams, considering basically all of them played pro-football.

I respect his steadiness...

Like you I for the most part don't care who calls our games. That said, only time I might actually listen to them is our primetimes games. Most other times it's muted and I'm focusing on something else, but I just don't think Cris is entertaining. To each their own.

I wouldn't even say he's entertaining. He just actually seems to care about being there. Listening to Jason Garrett, it felt like he was doing a chore.

I’m loving being in the driver seat of the AFC right now but I think 3,4, or even 5 seed is where we end up. To many teams in the hunt have a cake walk to finish off the year compared to us. 3/4 feels right, 5 if we can’t figure out the Steelers.

I think that we beat the jaguars and get the 2 seed

I don’t pay much attention to commentators but it’s the bad ones that stand out, and collinsworth, to me, is really never bad. He just does a good job and I couldn’t stand Garrett for the same reason, if I had to hear him hype up another vanilla screen for minimal gain I might’ve hit mute. the only thing that seemed to give him any life was when zay took a screen 2-3 yards

At this point I just want to beat the Steelers and secure division/a home playoff game

Really the only reason I can think of to dislike Collinsworth is he's just like Dan Dierdorf where he's cheerleading for the other team. Just seems like he's anti-Raven.

Despite how disgusting this looks, I don't think I've ever been more excited to watch a Browns game... and it happens to fall on the bye week.

It is going to be a fun game to tune into. I am very curious how things are going to trend for them. If Flacco plays well, it will be interesting to see if they stick with him when DTR clears protocol.

Besides me thinking Flacco is washed he's coming in with no knowledge of the play book. Don't care enough to check who they're playing but I'd expect plenty of handoffs and a return to DTR when he's healthy.

Curious how you all would rank the coaches in the AFC North. I have Harbaugh/Tomlin 1 and 2. Don't care which order you pick to be honest, Stefanski and 5th is Zac.

They're playing the Rams.
For Cleveland, my opinion is its kind of irrelevant. Find a QB who doesn't turn the ball over. Defense is going to give up 20 points a week or less against comparable teams. You just need somebody to not make big mistakes.

Like Flacco isn't a SB winning QB anymore, but when you're competing with PJ Walker and DTR, its immaterial between the three.

For betting people... I'm heavily against the public on this one. I'll certainly take the Browns +3.5 with Flacco at QB. Rams aren't special, and Browns D matches up well with them. And I love the under @ 40.5 also.

Rams probably win by a point or two, which is the best outcome for everybody.

Commentators are like the OL: if they're doing a solid job then we're not probably not talking about them, but if they fuck up then we're gonna notice and call them out on their bullshit.

Collinsworth is usually pretty solid to me. I think sometimes he can be annoying with how he gushes about certain players/teams, but you could probably say that about a lot of other announcers as well. At least Collinsworth has genuine enthusiasm when calling games though, which is a huge plus

With what Tomlin has done with a garbage offense ,he's gotta be no 1 . Harbaugh has made too many 4th down errors.
