Next Up: vs. Texans (Divisional Round)

I've been pretty busy with closing out the school semester so I haven't been following the build up to this game, but I still find it hard not to worry. I guess that's just part of any big game. I think this is going to be like playing Miami a year ago. I think we are going to get out to a lead, have them chase a bit, but I think the OFF keeps on the gas and the DEF doesn't break. I don't like weather arguments, but it's gonna be cold and there is something about dome teams playing in the cold. Other than that...

We need to put extra protection for Lamar on passing plays Unlike Niners and Dolphins, these guys will rush off the edge. We do that, we golden.
I think this is a must. If Andrews plays or not, an extra OLmen or someone to consistently chip those edges opens up an already really effective passing game for us.

What’s your read on the Fells Point area?
I would feel safer in Fells Point. I have come to a point, where I am leery to go into the city with a loved one. If it is just me, that is a different story. I do enjoy an Orioles and Ravens game once in a while.

The only playoff game I ever made it to was the divisional game against the Texans after the 2011 season. I was surprised by the number of folks wearing Texans gear. Guess we'll see.
That game was way too close for comfort as well! Typical Ravens game

I wish that was true, I really do. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. If anything doesn’t quite look right and your spider senses are tingling, listen to your instincts.
Born and raised here. Been in or worked in the city my whole life up until Covid. Worked in what I’d call the hood hood where I saw drug deals on the corner and shootings walking to my building way too frequently. Fells, Fed, even the Harbor are all generally fine. Petty crime and shit like that of course but that’s true of every single city.

I wish it were different. My wife got a job offer at Hopkins and I’d love to live in the city , but we’re pretty set on commuting from Severna Park/Arnold area. If I didn’t have kids it would consider the city

And you’re not wrong about that. I will say that I’m a 5’6 white suburban dude and have never been physically threatening, so I’d be a hypothetical target. Crime happens in the nicer areas but it’s far more the exception than the rule. Just feel like a lot of the fear is projecting rather than legitimate. I’m generally a believer that yes, Baltimore is unsafe, but it’s concentrated in certain areas. Fed, Fells, Canton, Harbor East, Mt. Vernon, Mt. Washington, etc are all more than safe places. Hell, even around the stadium is generally fine too.
