The Nightmare, the Turnovers and the Season's Over

for a team that has been so disciplined basically the whole season too
Yep. Van Noy is the one that gets me most. I’ve literally heard him say in his pre game speeches to not let the other team get in their heads and he was one of the biggest culprits.

I feel like John needed to slap Todd and say wtf dude? It's his job and UNFORTUNATELY he has a lot of experience with this is exact issue

Of all possible games, we chose to do what we haven't done all season long in two playoff games. On top of it, that 1st half warning vs Texans was not enough, even after the proof came in the 2nd half in that same game.

I'm really struggling to make any sense of this shit and what was their thinking today.

16 fucking rush attempts. 8 by Lamar and 2 by Flowers. No attempt to even establish the power run game with the score close.
Same thing with Greg Roman... same thing happened with Monken. We seen it in the regular season where we question why players didn't get more carries. Same thing happened here. Harbaugh is the problem for letting this keep happening under him.

Also holy shit fuck Travis Kelce.

Asshole got away with whatever he wanted and we got penalized for it.

Scum bag but obviously the NFL wants him to look good
The NFL wants to see Mahomes, Kelce, and Taylor Swift in the Super Bowl. For weeks they have been plastered all over the TV with commercial ads and flashing on Swift during games. It's obvious! Sickening, but obvious. At least to me.

Proud of my boys. They didn’t show out today like I would have liked but given the offseason they had, the uncertainty, the changes to the staff, I couldn’t have imagined that we would have been a quarter or so away from the Super Bowl.

A lot to say about the gameplan offensively but overall the season was a good one.

Not a bad first season with this new offense. I want to see what Monken and Lamar can do next year.

Would love to see a lot of these guys back next year but DRAFT SZN NOW BOYS

I mean yeah they clearly want it, but none of those people had any impact on us shitting the bed. That’s on us and only us.

im just tired of having amazing regular season journeys and then being punched in the gut
at least the bills went out in a proper heavyweight fight last week

we went out like a damp squib

The last amazing regular season journey was in 2019. Since then this team has struggled to have an amazing regular season journey at all until recently. I get it that we tired but the 2023 season was definitely more entertaining compared to the 2022 season. I would have love to have seen this team come out of this game as the winners but it is what it is. I'm sure the team will find out ways to get better and over come

I'm not saying Fire Harbaugh but Stevie Biscuits needs to ask him about his refusal to step in if one of his co-ordinators is having a meltdown.

In (almost) all of our recent playoff losses, there's been a simple and obvious adjustment that wasn't made that could have changed everything. Yet, every time, Harbs watches them fail and does nothing.

If he can't do that, there's no point in rebuilding a team for him to meekly watch them lose again.

Van Noy had absolutely no reason to get involved in the Kelce skirmish, and as a vet, he should know better.

Clowney lowered his helmet for no reason.

Zay should also know better but at least he’s a rookie and will learn from it.

At least Travis Jones was just trying to make a play.

But 60 yards on personal fouls (excluding Roquan’s) is bad.
They easily could have let Kyle's go with how they were calling the game. Jones I get. Didn't need the personal foul for Ro. I'm not blaming the refs for this loss but they're pathetic. It also doesn't help when they miss a blatant hold in the middle of the fucking field for us on a big play. Anyway

what's even more frustrating is that he literally said to evan washburn in the half-time interview that we wanted to get the ground game going

I agree but he’s been around long enough to know it’s rarely the guy that starts it that gets called. Just inserted himself there for absolutely no reason.

You aren’t kidding with this. Mental toughness was not there today which is surprising considering how we’ve acted all season. But the Chiefs got in our heads and we let that spoil the day.
Just frustrating because on paper the Ravens are the best team in the league and keep finding ways to beat themselves when it matters.
