The hate for Lamar is just UNREAL. I'm obviously biased but holy shit, people really think he sucks lmao.

In terms of people shitting on Lamar, the biggest culprits I've seen are: Bills fans (loudest ones), Cowboys fans, Chiefs fans, and to some extent, @OURavensFan 's favorite people, Bengals fans.Who’s saying he sucks?
And @JAAM ’s 49ers fans. Honestly Bengal fans haven’t been as bad as the other ones listed but they still obviously have haters and think burrow is clearly better and make RB comments. I guess Lamar needs to get to 14-1 against them to get universal respect from that fanbase. In terms of people shitting on Lamar, the biggest culprits I've seen are: Bills fans (loudest ones), Cowboys fans, Chiefs fans, and to some extent, @OURavensFan 's favorite people, Bengals fans.

And everyone has haters for sure but I feel like NFL discourse has just become NBA Lebron vs Jordan’esq type… But this bullshit is EXACTLY what makes our loss that much worse, we would have had an amazing one up on everyone besides the Chiefs (albeit we’d have 1-0 against them too)The hate for Lamar is just UNREAL. And sadly the only thing that's gonna shut haters up is a SB win. If we struggle next year, its gonna get louder and the pressure on him gets still greater. Anything less than dominating victories concluding with a SB win is going to perpetuate the narrative. The hate for Lamar is just UNREAL. Best team in nfl by far and we couldnt pull it off.. unless our offense is super highpowered next season, i think its gonna be a while before we get back to where we are now.. MM really looked like a genius this past season.. mans did some incredible shit that i really havent witnessed before as far as game planning and adjustments.. i have no faith in a 1st year DC play callerAnd sadly the only thing that's gonna shut haters up is a SB win. At least for me, I no longer care about the regular season accolades. All I need for him is to stay healthy and get us to the playoffs. At which point, I want him to double down on using his strengths and make the critics squirm. I would love nothing more to watch them cry if Lamar won SB MVP while having pedestrian-at-best passing yards while rushing for like 90-100+. I promise you, I would not go to sleep that night before talking shit online at the haters. And sadly the only thing that's gonna shut haters up is a SB win. Same man, and he had every opportunity to do that against the Chiefs if he took off without hesitancy like we saw the week prior. Or if Stanley doesn’t get beat and holds up in max protect maybe we can hit a big play to Bateman, but I digress. At least for me, I no longer care about the regular season accolades. That’s the problem. If Lamar can just get over the hump and win one Super Bowl the pressure is off and I think he could win multiple ones. And sadly the only thing that's gonna shut haters up is a SB win. I swear it’s like me and breaking par on 18, I’ve done it on 9, but even then everytime I got close I would choke. Same with 18, I can be E after 16 and I’ll triple 17. This is Lamar in the playoffs. Once I finally did it on 9 it’s not a big deal when I am close to it again, if I can break through once on 18 I’ll be able to do it more. Until then, all Lamar can do is position himself with more opportunities to make playoff runs, this is why the prior 2 years sucked so much, he could have won a super bowl already who knowsThat’s the problem. Right now the pressure on him made him play tight in the Championship game.
Agree with this. Winning this year would have been huge. The confidence and experience can be a multiplier for players. And like you said the team could play freely this upcoming season with weoght off their shoulders. This team hasn't shown they respond well to pressure. That’s the problem. Bateman is becoming another Perriman out there, seems like something bad always happens and he’s never on the same page as LamarWe need Lamar to be Lamar, he needs to stop letting the outside noise get to him. He's so determined to prove he can pass, he stops being what makes him Lamar. His absolute refusal to run for an easy first, or an easy 5-7 yards is not him. Seeing Mahomes without hesitation run for an easy first was frustrating when Lamar hesitated to do that.
It just wasn't the AFC Championship game, multiple times in the regular season Lamar had easy yards using his legs but refused. Then what would happen? He'd stand there and end up taking a sack and it would be a loss of yards instead. We probably won't know this but some people speculated Lamar audibled out of run plays in the AFC Championship game which was why we passed so much and got away from the run. I know we want him to have freedom to change the plays but if he's getting away from the run game... that's a problem.
