Irony: Ozzie's best draft since 2011 when we got Jimmy, Torrey, and McPhee was 2016.

First Round: Notre Dame Player
Two players with Polynesian Origin we have had? Busts.

what did you do google every N.D. player drafted the last few years and throw them all up against the wall hoping some might stick? ...lol
Man that's what ozze does!!!

seriously, you're mad aren't you? ...come on be honest....you're mad..admit it and you're looking for some form of "getback" just like Bengals are gonna be laying in wait for us!!!

you mad bro! you mad cuz you said humpf broke on the balls he pic'd vs G.B. and Detroit and I posted videos that proved nuthin could be further from the truth and you got mad!!!!

well as is said in parlance of the pickers, "Don't draft angry".

now to answer your question quite honestly, if you can stay away from N.D.er's in the first couple rounds and draft somoan you're well on your way to owning a draft.

yes i googled every N.D. player drafted ever because i wanted to be factually correct (something you have no problem not being) and i didnt throw them at a wall i just listed them for you... on those two lists were every ND player drafted in the first 2 rounds (and some later round prospects too) between 2010 and 2016 (didnt include 2017 because that's too recent to know a damn thing yet) so i didnt hope "some might stick" as you put it but demonstrated how many actually DID stick

i dont know why you think im mad - im just a little perplexed about why you are saying what you are saying (also no idea what you are talking about with the bengals)

im also not mad about the humphrey thing because as others noted you were wrong about the detroit pick - that pick was the very definition of breaking on the ball given that he manoeuvred himself with the ball in the air better and faster than the receiver did while he was holding the underneath coverage in a bracket - and your video proved that he did break on the ball - but anyway that has no relevance to my actual post (which you still havent answered any of the questions for)

i have never heard of the sentiment "dont draft angry" and im not sure what relevance it has in prospect evaluations either...

and now im going to use yet more facts to disprove this idea that Notre Dame players outside of the first couple of rounds are always good picks in list form... and im going to go back through every Notre Dame drafted player since i started watching football and 2016...

Useful:
Theo Riddick

Not Useful (it's a bit harsh calling later round picks busts):
KeiVarae Russell
Sheldon Day
Ben Koyack
Louis Nix
Chris Watt
Prince Shembo
Bennett Jackson
TJ Jones
Jamoris Slaughter
Kapron Lewis Moore (hello there)
Zeke Motta
Robert Blanton
Darius Fleming
Sam Young
Eric Olsen

Theo Riddick looks kind of lonely up there doesnt he - in fact doing a quick scan - he's the best notre dame player picked outside of the top 2 rounds since 2005 (Justin Tuck in the 3rd round)

so now that ive answered your questions... can you maybe answer mine from the last post i.e. what dont you like about quenton nelson as a prospect? what does polynesian have anything to do with anything? when was the last time a notre dame player or lineman was overdrafted?

...

Are you drunk?

so maybe we do have more power as a board in the 2018 draft section of this forum...
maybe we do influence the ravens' decision-making
wouldnt that be kinda hilarious
it cant be true though. i think bmorebird was the only humphrey at 16 supporter. although twill sounds like they were listening to us. also terrence brooks back in the day, we all raved over him.

Ronnie Stanley is also Polynesian. He is Tongan to be precise.
Well I'll be damned. Seriously. Dude is a stud.

Tbh I'll take the LT from Notre Dame in the first round no problem this draft either. Edge rushing pressure unless it was Von Miller or Mack would basically be non-existent.

yeah ive said from the beginning if we were to come away with either of the notre dame first round offensive linemen that id be elated with the draft

I didn't say he wouldn't get fired, nor did I say we were gonna drop them. Was just saying that I don't think Steve is gonna hang discipline over harbaughs head right now while we're in the thick of it, he doesn't strike me as that kinda guy, he's not one for distractions and that's the ultimate distraction
I know that, just saying in regards to the situation because I think I've heard the same thing from same where else. Steve's the type of guy who just would rather avoid distractions, speculations or being in reports.

It wasn't lack of talent that decided Carr should cover Brown one on one. It wasn't lack of talent that decided not to try to run out the clock while we had the lead in the final moments.
Are you referring to the defense not making Pitt work more for their last TD or the Ravens offense scoring too quickly? I don't see any issues with the quick TD. This was a struggling offense coming into this game who couldn't get points to save their lives. If you're the Ravens and you see a TD there then you have to take it, they just don't get those type of opportunities that often. That's really what I have to say in regards to that situation because I see plenty of people upset over the quick score.

I don't have an issue with that quick touchdown. It was later on when we were up by more than a score and we are constantly throwing it. That second to last Ravens' offensive drive had horrible play calling. They should have just kept handing it to Collins in that drive.

Ok, I read your post and based on others opinions on the drive I thought you were referring to the quick TD. I've heard plenty of people rage over it and it makes no sense to me.

I think the two drives that ended we were conservative hurt, but you just have to expect more from your defense on that day. It's hard to nitpick on an offense who punted just three times the entire day IMO. I see your point though and it is valid.

The second to last drive was correct but throwing to Maclin was wrong. The only way handing it off there is smart is if you think for some reason that the defense was going to stop them. I saw NOTHING that made this valid. They did not even NEED the timeouts that we would have burned running it 3 times then punting that is how bad the defense was. It was horrible and not putting it in there hands was the smartest decision made all season, the dumbest was trusting Maclin to make a catch.

I disagree - we ran it on 2nd down and got 6 yards despite everyone in the building knowing it was gonna be a run - if we’d run it on 3rd and 4 with the way Collins was running there’s no certainty we would have been punting - whereas vs the steelers throwing to Maclin was automatically a wasted down
