Actually I'd rather see them put up a fight and force us to keep on pushing our limits. We still have a lot of progresses to make, the more we get to fight the better we'll be come playoff time.

Agreed. I want them up for the Cincy game.

Ummm...y'all do know that the "don't fight it...give into it" phrase in my post IS JUST a funny way of saying that the Colts don't stand a chance? It wasn't meant to be take so literal...

Eh, some people like it when victory comes easy. I don't.

So, I'm putting this here because it's a more popular thread, but the Ravens are tied for 10th best in drop percentage in the NFL and are actually extremely close to being inside the top 5 in the NFL.

10th best meaning we have the 10th highest drop percentage or 10th lowest? I’m assuming highest...

The NFL has always been very weird about what they consider a drop. My standard is if you get 2 hands on it and don't catch it (barring a bang bang hit) its a drop. By that simple metric I counted 4 last week.

Makes sense considering they don't even know what qualifies as a catch. lol

Its not so much the numbers. Its the result. 5 times its hit receivers hands and been intercepted. Those are game changers. We also seem to have a lot of 3rd down drops.

Obviously i dont follow other teams as closely to see if thats abnormal or not but id wager its not

Drops are a finicky thing, as you stated. You could lead the league in dropped passes, but if you're doing it on like 1,000 passes, does it really mean as much as if I was second in the league on 500 passes?

And yeah, obviously it's going to really kill you if a drop is popped up into the air for an interception, like in the Bears game.

Good points there.

Regardless of statistics, I think it has to be obvious to anyone that has watched games this year that the Ravens receiving corp is well below average. As a whole they have sucked. Plain and simple, sucked. We saw good improvement from Mike last week, but not much else. Hopefully he keeps up the good work and others follow.

Although there are weaknesses elsewhere, if there’s one thing that you could point to that would keep them from moving through the tournament for me it would be the lack of consistent talent at WR.
