somehow, after the dumpster fire that was the AFC all year, the best 2 teams in the conference championship round were both in the AFC title game...

This happens every year, the NFC appears to look awesome but only due to parity, in reality theres only one decent team usually and they make the superbowl.

AFC still the better conference. Look at the last 20 SBs. It’s overwhelmingly won by an AFC team. NFC just don’t know how to finish.

i dont think that was the problem this year - there were 4 awesome teams in the nfc - they just beat each other up and the only one that remained at the end is the one that lost its qb...
if you'd had the rams play the vikings and saints play the eagles we may well be looking at teams who look dominant going into the superbowl juking it out here

What's the bet the Eagles blow a double-digit lead in the Superb Owl or something to that effect? The Patriots' most recent win came from Atlanta blowing the 28-3 lead and the one before that came from the Seahawks not rushing at the 1 so it doesn't feel unreasonable that something else happens this time.

what's sad is that if we'd made the playoffs since 2014 when we've been in position we may well have had a chance to be up in 3rd or even 2nd on this list

If the eagles blow a 28-3 lead in the SB, they should be banned from postseason play next season. I think it will stay pretty close until the end.

Last time they played, EDP was in Foxboro - ended alright for the Eagles.

I truly think the Eagles can win their first Super Bowl in two weeks. Holding the Falcons to 10, Atlanta scored 26 points against the Rams but were held to 10 points by the Eagles.The Vikings scored 29 points against the Saints, held to 7 by the Eagles. Patriots scored 24 points today, does that mean the trend continues into the Super Bowl and the Eagles hold a team who scored 20+ the previous week to 10 or under?
