2018 NFL Draft

Ice bowl, you seem like a very nice guy. And I am not really one to talk as I am not very active here, but I want to warn you. You consistently make very optimistic comments about a team that is not your own and I believe that the people on here see that as disingenuous. I appreciate your kindness, and keep being yourself, but be mindful that things may be interpreted differently than you intend. Goodnight my friend.
Not at all. The Ravens are my AFC team. I have your backs all the way.

Is there any chance at all that we'll try use Lamar in some other ways than QB to get him on the field? I kinda have a feeling not ... I doubt we'd want to risk the health of someone we may envision being our next QB
Lamar's career in NFL might start as Flacco's, you never know.
Flacco's back gives up again, RGIII twists a knee - welcome Lamar, Ravens starting QB.

lamar miller was 15th on my board and 5 spots ahead of josh allen so he's good value and i even had him ahead of will hernandez

but man i would have loved to have will hernandez on this team lol
think you mean Jackson. lol . you need some sleep

Really happy with the way our draft went down today. Picking up one of if not the best TE in this draft class and one that can make an immediate impact in a need position is huge and drafting our future QB is tremendous

We’ve got our next pick hopefully in the wr sweet spot too - I’m worried about positioning for an o linemen but if will Hernandez is available in the 2nd then hopefully more guys will get pushed back a little

Trading back 2xs to get Hurst definitely stung. Initially I was pissed and thinking typical Ozzie b.s. I wanted WR Ridley. But, then I watched him on Youtube. I know highlights aren't the end all be all concerning a players ability to play at the NFL level but it's better than nothing cause I don't keep up with all of these college prospects. Hurst isn't too bad. And, then we got QB Lamar Jackson? Wow! I'm pumped to see what's in store tomorrow night!

hes ready to play though. i understand that hurst is an underwhelming pick and we couldve done better, but if you think hurst isnt a day 1 starter and a solid one, then you havent watched the film, plain and simple.
He has very good hands and jump ball skills, but man guys jump his routes consistently. His route running needs work and he whiffs on blocks (which idc about these days). He’s not ready to play day one. I’ll let the history of TEs that don’t produce year one prove that for me. I think the our second pick of Lamar Jackson proves that we aren’t looking for guys ready to play day 1. We are rebuilding no matter if Ozzie wants to admit it or not.

I really hope we can get a dynamic WR with a third. An offense with Lamar, Collins, Hurst, Crabs, and some other guy could be deadly. Reminds me of 2010 eagles. Can someone tell me if Jackson has any injury history? I honestly know nothing about him because I never even expected this. Give me a scouting report, anyone up to it. I'm neutral on the pick rn but feel I would love it. He does seem incredibly stupid though.

The first thing Jackson has to learn to do before anything else is to avoid contact. He routinely lowers his shoulder and initiates. That's to be stopped immediately.

Encouraging stuff on his Purdue tape....I can see a guy like Gallup pairing nicely with Jackson. He's fearless, competitive and great over the middle and great after the catch.

I like your way of thinking
