Its been easy for me to be disappointed in Boykin but lets face it ; he was never really made a part of the offense. We didn't look for him. There had to be four or five times ( not including 1 in the playoffs) where he was behind the defense and was open for a big gain or a TD and Lamar didn't see him.
Too many times his route is nothing more than a clear out for the middle of the field or to take defenders away from the run. He wasn't part of this offense. The guy ran a ton of slants and targeted sits in college and I remember just one slant route here, (he dropped it ).
No route diversity and not targets or effort to game plan him some throws.
How does the offense change moving froward to include either Boykin or a draft pick?
So i wasnt the only one who saw him wide open in offs that looked like to be a post across the middle but instead he went to amdrews

Anyone here collect trading cards? Kobe Bryant Rookie Cards are now going for $20,000 on Ebay. I might have to start collecting cards as a hobby and hope I end up with good value 10-20 years down the line lol.

Now that I'm finally over our playoff loss I'm full fledged into draft season. I've been seeing some outlets have CJ Henderson CB as our first pick. Depending on what happens in FA I really wouldn't mind this pick at all. He fits the profile for what we look for in corners. Lock him up with Humphrey and Peters for the future and were set at CB for a good while.

I honestly just dont see us resigning Jimmy Smith. He never plays a full season and his play hasent been as good since all the injuries. I think it's time to move on and spend money on the front 7, online, or WR.

I dont see Murray or Queen as the BPA when we pick who seem to be the popular picks by media. I just feel like there will be better players available at 28

If Henderson is BPA, we're 100% trading down

How do you guys feel about Epenesa if he's there when we pick? Don't know much about him, but he's being compared to Watt, both on and off the field.

im not the biggest fan of his - feels like someone who should be playing 3 tech as a pass rusher but isnt great in the running game - i think there are far better pass rushers in the class than him but he's getting crazy hype in some circles - maybe others will like him more but im not a fan

Henry’s gonna break the bank but with his workload he’s gonna slow down drastically before the contract is up.

as enticing as it would be, hard pass. That’s the last thing we need to go breaking the bank on, gimme an elite LG or C for the same price and double the duration.
