There's a small part of me that kinda wants to see EDC decide to just go all in on improving the front 7. Ossai or Oweh in the 1st, Perkins or Turner in the 2nd, Dayo somewhere later on, and grab a couple small school pass rushers in the mid rounds. Just EDC going, "We don't need to score many points if we just kill the opposing QB."

So, Ravens and Chiefs just did a trade that's gonna make us all have to change up what we expect the Ravens to do.

Betting that we'll trade down from one of the 1st round picks to the early 2nd in exchange for another third round pick. Though I'd be happy with staying put and getting a combo of potential studs.

I'm sad the Seahawks don't have a 1st rounder this year. I feel like you can always count on them to have the head scratcher of the night which inevitably pushes at least one good player down a little further. Hopefully the Raiders continue their ways this year too.
it's fine, the steelers at 24 can take another 4th round DB...
but for real - the pats are probably too high to do anything super funky, and you're right the seahawks not being there is a missed opportunity lol, same with the texans (if they ever had a 1st round pick lol)

im just hoping we see 5+Qbs, 4+LBs and maybe even a couple of RBs go before we pick - oh and i really hope rousseau goes early too...
I keep playing with these mock simulators and it feels like all of the players I really like are gone by 25. But we also know there are going to be surprises. It always works out that way.

Have literally had this thought, we could help Lamar by adding weapons, or we could just prevent any qb from dueling with him. Only problem I have is I personally don’t like ossai in the first, even iffy on him in round 2 tbh.
and not just the edge. I’d take barmore in a heartbeat, same with onwuzurike after a trade back, tommy togiai is a guy I’m suddenly very high on in the third. Alim McNeil isn’t too shabby a prospect either.

I think Bateman is gonna be there at 27. Idk man i just got a feeling, like Ridley falling, hopefully we goddamn capitalize this time if the opportunity arises
before this even happened i got bored of them - because there were always too many guys available who should have absolutely no shot at being there - and when your value on your own board is so different on a couple of players, it means you end up drafting those same players in every single mock lol
the number of times on those sims that i ended up with spencer brown, josh palmer, dayo odeyingbo, benjamin st-juste, kary vincent jr, tre brown, patrick jones, quincy roche, janarius robinson... etc. etc.
feels like i end up with lots of those guys in every single generator
i love barmore as a pass rusher - not so much in the running game (but he's got potential) - would love him if we could get him after a trade down
onwuzurike im a little lower on than others but still like him towards the end of round 2
dayiyon nixon's more what id be looking for earlier in round 2 than onwuzurike
i love alim mcneil - if he wasnt a nose tackle only prospect he'd be way higher on my board - he's definitely a guy we should be interested in if he slips to the back end of the 3rd round

im very with you on ossai - he's so stiff and still pretty raw on the edge - i'd love him in the 3rd round but idk that id be that sold before then

And even if he doesn't, I really hope we think strongly of Elijah Moore. Love that guy. Just not sure he's what the FO has in mind.

Man onwuzurike has grown on me big time, he’s FREAKY as hell, I prefer barmore absolutely but I’m not entirely sure that onwuzurike doesn’t have a higher ceiling. He reminds me of Gerald McCoy.

I love Elijah Moore but I also don’t imagine we have much interest.
although I’ll say I think Eric decosta is more trendy than Ozzie was, ole miss WRs are in fashion right now and Eric likes to ride the wave a bit, LSU LB, OSU RB, Oklahoma skill players, and then there’s always the fact that Eric is brilliant at smoke and subterfuge leading up to the draft, the fact that there’s no links of the ravens to Moore could be exactly what the FO inrends.

I wouldn’t sleep on this surprise prospect if he’s available at either first: Samuel cosmi. He’s a dream fit for this scenario, he and Villanueva compete for RT in 2021, or if the 5 best puts cosmi at LG, awesome, because he’s a great fit there and then he kicks over to RT when the time comes.
