Per @AdamSchefter on ESPN just now, the Steelers are actively trying to trade up into the top 10.
going up to the top 10 has to be for a qb surely...
also ill believe it when i see it lol...

Not necessarily, there have been plenty of trades over the years that have teams trading from the 20s into the top 10 and not taking a QB.going up to the top 10 has to be for a qb surely...

Not quite top ten but just recently the Saints traded from 27 to 14 for a pass rusher. Not necessarily, there have been plenty of trades over the years that have teams trading from the 20s into the top 10 and not taking a QB.

It wouldn't be that hard to figure out who will be available or have it narrowed down to two people depending on the spot they're trading to. And judging by the talent of this draft it has to be a QB or pass rusher. They need a corner but none of them are worth that kind of jump.the difference is that they were reacting to who was still on the board - it sounds like the steelers are proactively trying to get into the top 10 before they have any real inkling of who's gonna be there
We should totally take himPer Schefter: Louisiana Tech defensive end Jaylon Ferguson is helping people in Ruston, La. after the tornado there, and because there's no cell service, may not know if he's drafted on Friday, when he is projected to be a second-round pick.

I doubt the trade will happen if the player isn't available. It will cost them a boatload of picks.the difference is that they were reacting to who was still on the board - it sounds like the steelers are proactively trying to get into the top 10 before they have any real inkling of who's gonna be there
devin white is a generational talent imo, hes rare, and the steelers very well could be playing a game of keeping up with the joneses, getting the fastest defender out there in the middle of the field, trying to emulate what the chargers did vs us but without actually taking LBs off the field. It wouldn't be that hard to figure out who will be available or have it narrowed down to two people depending on the spot they're trading to. Josh Allen, Ed Oliver, or Quinnen Williams has to be the target if they're moving into the top 5. If they can trade with the Raiders or Buccs then at least one of them will be available. If they trade ahead of the Bengals to 9 or 10, then it's probably Brian Burns as the target who will still be available. There's also the off chance that they're trading ahead of the Bengals for a LB, but that's an expensive trade for LBs that don't really seem like generational talents.
Haskins also has to be in the conversation but they literally just extended Ben's contract.
Don’t see White falling that far but Bush will probably be availableNah, if true, it can only be for White
looking at the tv coverage, nashville looks like by far the most lit scene for a draft that ive seen so far
that would be even more litbut because its all outside they were worried about the thunderstorms lol - could be a whole different kind of lit
one of those rare times when pundits talking about the atmosphere being electric will be speaking literally rather than metaphorically
