I do realize everything here and it was poorly worded on my part(sorry, I've been up since 4am and haven't had my coffee yet. Please forgive me lol). And honestly, I'm happy we are in this position for next season so we can hopefully focus ALL of our resources on the offensive line next offseason. Lord knows we need it. If we get Decker, and Maxx turns into the player I think he can turn into it's gonna be guns blazing once we get an offensive line. And I think Jimmy and Yanda would both be willing to given our team is actually in prime position for a super bowl run sometime within the next 4 or so years(which is actually a big window).

But the last line(Yanda and Jimmy) is going to take a lot of time in all likelihood, unless if Ozzie has been working on it for awhile.

I'm not entirely sure on this, but they both seem like huge team players and if the team said, "Hey, we need cap space to sign Eric Decker to help Joe out. Will you take a signing bonus amount up front and lose some game check money," I think they'd both do it.
 
Honestly looking ahead. We're in a damn good position. Here's what I'd do 2018(if we sign Decker)

1. Right now I'd let Crockett test the trade block. I'm confident in Boyle and Maxx going forward and I doubt we'd retain him given his injury history. Let's see what he does.
2. I'd resign Wallace next season. He REALLY seems to like it here and won't be too expensive in all likelihood.
3. Get Mosley an extension. I understand that the inside linebacker is becoming less important across the league, but when you have a top 10 player at a position that is important in OUR defense(especially one who quarterbacks the front seven and does a damn good job of it) we need to keep him here. Finding a player who was able to wear the green dot at such a young age was a godsend.
4. Perriman's fifth year option.
5. Go all in on an interior lineman. There will be a good crop of them next offseason and judging by this offseason, quite a few of them should be available. I would pay top dollar for an Andrew Norwell, or a Weston Richburg.

Where are you getting all this money from? The Ravens cap position next offseason is such that they can actually sign Mosley to an extension pretty easily and probably Wallace but more than that and you are pushing it.

If money will be an issue, we can stock up on o-linemen in the draft instead of free agency.

If we also get Decker, the offense could potentially look really good in a year or so.
 
In terms of free agency our FO is really killing it this off
season. Jefferson is absolutely entering his prime at twenty five and somehow making room for Maclin is icing on top.

Landing two pro bowl caliber players, both of whom are relatively young, ought to be lauded.
 
I'd go for Decker but I don't see why we would want to trade Wallace. I'd keep both and actually have a good WR corps for a change. I would trade a TE like Gillmore before I would trade away Wallace. I keep hearing how Wallace talks up the team and I think he has a really good relationship here so unless he asked to be traded I think we'll keep him and have just a really good group. I think Watson could be forced to take a pay cut and you can restructure someone like a Yanda or a Jimmy Smith as others said.

also, I really think Woodhead is flying under the radar. If he stays healthy, I could see him having a big impact with how Joe dumps off some passes

I just worry that BP will get kind of lost being that far down on the depth chart

They have $25M before any cap increases, according to OTC, with no major FA
 
We may be able to pull this off, but if we do, it will likely come at the cost of sacrificing opportunities to improve the line.
