Not saying that he wasnt good but watt demands double 95% of time, so we would think that clowney would get more sacks yet he doesnt. He was just as good without Watt as he was with him and the numbers back that up.

Lol, they won't need to move up to #1 - it's theirs easy. They can move to #2, though - take Tua and Jeudy. Why separate them just because they went pro?Miami is going all in for Tua. Plenty of draft captal to move up to #1 position now but who's going to protect him lol
And then they can spend their time throwing five-yard slants on every play because the Miami OL doesn't let them do anything else.Lol, they won't need to move up to #1 - it's theirs easy. They can move to #2, though - take Tua and Jeudy. Why separate them just because they went pro?

Ryan Mallet may be availableSo Broncos cut their two other backups, put rookie Drew Lock on IR. Flacco is the only QB on the Broncos roster.
more than patheticI'd just like to say I'm happy I'm not a Texans fan. The Seahawks finessed the [profanity deleted] out of them. For essentially 2 3rds and a 2nd round pick got a Duane Brown and Jadeveon Clowney. Think about that. THEN, the Texans send two 1s and a 2nd for an LT and Kenny Stills. All this while still having a large amount of cap space. I really don't understand how some of these people get and keep jobs in the NFL.
more than pathetic
their problem was that they waited too long to trade him. By waiting past the deadline for restructures or new contracts they eliminated a third of the league, because now he can only play on the franchise tag and every team can't afford that. That is what was pathetic. The problem is that after this year they lose him and only get a 3rd round comp. He hasn't signed the tag so he can dictate who he will and won't play for and this leads to the Seahawks having all of the leverage and really only having to supply more value then the comp pick they get next year.

yes he had to sign the franchise tag, but atleast there would be more teams that would have been interested him, that he would have been willing to go to. That's the point. You have to atleast understand that there would have been more options if they didn't wait too long.I mean if every team in the league is willing to trade for him and has the cap space it still does not matter because Clowney can just veto the team because they cannot trade him unless he is willing to sign franchise tag. So its not that 1/3 of the league cant trade for him its that the only teams that can trade for Clowney are the teams Clowney is willing to play for.
If the Browns were willing to offer a 2nd and a player as, but Clowney says no, the deal is dead.

EaglesMaybe, but werent all the reports saying that there were only like 2 teams he was even interested in playing for in the first place. I know one was the Seahawks I cannot remember if the other was Carolina or someone else, but I am sure those teams felt no pressure to bid up.
In recent weeks he was talking about the Eagles and the Seahawks, but you don't know if it would have played out the same way if they were discussing this back in May.Maybe, but werent all the reports saying that there were only like 2 teams he was even interested in playing for in the first place.
