We sort of kid here, but at least for 2021, they're in an "OK" spot (not great, but manageable).

If you want to see 2021 salary cap debacles coming, there are teams far worse.

The Eagles have $259M of active contracts on the books.
Saints have $251M (which from what I can tell doesn't include Kamara's deal currently).
Falcons have $203M

Like I'm telling people now... watch the Eagles and Saints this season (and maybe to a certain extent, the Steelers). They're going to be cutting, cutting, and doing more cutting.

If Drew Brees retires, they're going to light the entire roster on file.

The Jets have placed two players on IR with hamstring injuries.... Le'Veon Bell & rookie Denzel Mims. They also placed LB Blake Cashman on IR.

Trevor Lawrence come on down, your the next Quarterback of the New York Jets!

Clyde Edwards Helaire had all the hype for "best rookie performance" in week 1, but that was easily CJ Henderson, he was spectacular.

for a ROOKIE to play like that, in his first start ever, vs ty hilton, parris campbell, and philip rivers, is special. that dude may be on his way to being the best cb in the league.

he looked like the best cover corner in the class too - better than okudah but okudah was more physical and looked less likely to get victimised for his tackling

but henderson showed in week 1 some good tackling to go along with his explosive cover corner ability

Those Florida DBs really are hit or miss every year. Something did seem different about CJ though.

Broncos QB Drew Lock (shoulder) will miss two to six weeks with a sprained AC joint.

Lock exited Sunday's game against the Steelers after taking a wicked hit from behind. He immediately grabbed for his throwing shoulder, and was seen after the game in a sling. Jeff Driskel will likely start for Denver for at least the next month. Next week, he'll be a superflex option against the Bucs.

I think Anthony Lynn is going to Hue Jackson himself out of a job. He's in heavy denial over Herbert's performance.
