Based on that interaction it seems to me he's throwing down the gauntlet. Either the GM goes or he goes. Just my interpretation.
After listening to him again, I got that impression too. Especially when he says him winning MVP "threw a wrench into plans", as if they plan all along was to sit Love for a year and move on from Rodgers this year. It's quite crazy to think that considering Brady is 43 still winning Super Bowls but the Packers front office thinks Rodgers is "too old" at 37. 37 years old isn't even "old" anymore in the NFL today for Quarterbacks.
