With the state of our OL the plural form of that word might not be appropriate.Guys, stop talking about joes last years, I'm gonna cry
Would you say that since we have a consensus 3 linemen(Stanley, Siragusa, Yanda) that we all like that we are, halfway there?
Wait? Jason Kelce is avaliable?
I'd send a fourth for him tbh.
Stanley-Siragusa-Kelce-Yanda-Lewis(we better not be starting Hurst)
Honestly. I'm fine with that line.
Kelce was pretty bad last year and got pushed around too much-- basically was a worse version of Zuttah.
He's magically gonna get motivated by playing next to Yanda? The whole premise of "motivation" in sports is so contrived if you ask me. Yes, it's better to have a motivated guy, and motivation does make a difference, but the idea of a coach or a player motivating someone and making them better is so contrived. Motivation comes from within, and even if you have it, it's not going to magically make you better. Some guys just don't have it, for some reason or another.i agree that hurst should stay away from left tackle but he could be okay at right tackle with the new o-line coach working with him and playing next to yanda should motivate him.
plenty of vets will get cut in camp and if these guys are not holding there own against the defense in practice than ozzie will make moves
From the horses mouth...

Owner Steve Bisciotti indicated Tuesday that the Ravens won't be pursuing free agent Eric Decker.
Bisciotti believes the Ravens are set at receiver with Breshad Perriman and Chris Moore behind Jeremy Maclin and Mike Wallace, and Baltimore's greater need is on the offensive line. "We’ve got some money and we’re quite sure that some offensive line help is going to shake out," said Bisciotti. "I’d say that I don’t think that we have room for a starter at wide receiver now ... I think I’m going to save that last punch for an offensive lineman."
If we get them cheap enough it would be worth the risk to see if they stay healthy.Well he says that, but who could he even add? Mangold and Clady are huge injury liabilities and guys like Austin Paztor and Cyrus Kouandjio have shown flashes but have put a lot more bad tape out there than good tape.
.
Would a fourth and fifth get us one of those guys? That's what we gave up for Monroe. Our only hope is to offer high draft picks to upcoming free agents next season. Ozzie has shown a willingness to do this with Monroe several years ago(when he was actually good) and I think this is what's going to happen.
Interior line free agents next year go as followed.
Andrew Norwell
Jack Mewhort
Justin Pugh
Weston Richburg
Brandon Linder
Corey Linsley
Gabe Jackson
Well a lot of those guys are straight up untouchables but I wouldn't be surprised if we could pull something off.
GET WEDDLE AND JEFFERSON ON THIS ASAP.
First order of business: Cut James Hurst. All we need is to trade for one or two proven starters to compete, they don't even have to be studs. We cannot put out an oline with half-assed players again.
