As things stand we're still projected to get a few comp picks in 2027. 11 picks this year and maybe 8 to 10 next still looks quite healthy.

1. Mike MacDonald isn't the coach of the Ravens. Minter is. They don't run identical schemes.
2. Mike MacDonald has a couple pretty good run-stuffing LBs, who don't play on the line, who aren't exceptional in pass coverage either. And they play a lot.

Minter also likes to defend the run in nickel.

I could be wrong, but I think this was just the team doing a restructuring on their own, they didn't need any approval or input from Lamar. It's what they had to do to make the cap space because he wouldn't agree to a deal.

Stout is the only one really at risk of being pushed out as a top 32 contract

Only reason we’d lose any of the other picks is if we sign more free agents who count against the formula
