Signings, Cuts, Trades

I was just coming here to say why do I think he’s going to be our next OC lol

I think I read somewhere that the eagles HC used to make all the game script for the colts and Frank. Maybe it was mostly him and not Frank? Who knows

He had a big hand in the the Eagles' offense during their top years under Pederson, including the Super Bowl run. After he left the Eagles things on that offense got worse very quickly. Also, while they weren't world beaters, his offenses in Indy were pretty solid and always aggressive. Main exception being this year but that's because Ryan can't throw the ball more than ten yards

OK, haven't seen anything out of him that suggests he knows how to use a mobile QB, nor have I seen passing concepts from him in Indianapolis that show me he'd be an upgrade over Roman.

I don't think replacing Greg Roman at this point makes any sense. Especially now that the offensie is coming together now. He earned his stripes in my book because of how he managed the offense tonight. With literally all of Lamar's first options unavailable he was able to spread the ball to 10 different targets, which is amazing. Lamar didn't connect on a couple of sure TDs tonight and he was beating himself up even after the game.

Look, I wouldn't mind someone with Frank Reich's pedigree to join our offensive staff as an offensive consultant to bring his own experience in game planning. Other than that, I see no need to replace Greg Roman now.

He would be a fool not to consider the Ravens as his first option right now.

100 percent agree. So many targets up for grabs in this offense. Hollywood was top 10 in targets and all of those are available since Bate has gone down. Don’t think Bills, Bucs, Rams, Giants or Cowboys offer that right now. Maybe the Packers but they look off lately and OBJ would be a fool to head that way with them being down 4 games to the Vikings.

Packers are done.
Allen's probably gonna need Tommy John. He's at least banged up a good bit.
Cowboys and Bills have a lot of mouths to feed.
Would you rather play with Danny Dimes or Lamar?

A lot of mouths to feed is good for him if he needs a one year prove it deal. It was the exact situation as with the Rams where being one of the targets helped pad his numbers whereas being the number 1 draws the double team and makes it harder to make plays. If I were him I would choose Buffalo without hesitation if I can only get a 1 year deal.

Buffalo as the number two target with less than 750K available and Allen potentially injured?

KC as the #2/3 target behind Kelce and Juju and 4M available

BAL as the #2 behind Mandrews with a little over 2M available

Rams as the #2 behind Cupp with 4.5M available

Being from Cali I wouldn’t blame him taking the money and chillin on a LA beach

They can do some restructures and easily get money. The same is true of the Rams and KC. I do not think Balt can do a lot or anything at all really in terms of making more cap.

Meanwhile yes if the injury were serious than going to KC, or possibly Dallas, would be the better choice but Bills are far and away the best option. His ideal way to maximize his production is to be in single coverage against a team's second best corner. For the Bills that will almost always be the case. For the Rams that will be the case but their line is really shaky. For the Cowboys that is 50-50 as Lamb and Gallup are good players so maybe one of them draws the number CB but its unlikely. It will almost never happen in KC or Balt but in KC you have Mahomes who is a human cheat when it comes to throwing.

the problem for him is that the rams have seemingly not been interested in offering him enough money to go there

I just feel sorry that the Packers look like they are packing it in. Listened to Rodgers' presser, and it seems to me he still believes there is a chance at revival. More than anything else, I really feel sorry for our friend @Ice Bowl, who has been a loyal friend of ours and a great Packers fan as well.
