WR/RB Thread

Anyone think Senat could play guard in the future? I know he’s a project and a sixth round pick, just wondering.
Senat is s pure tackle imo. He’s got that length and great athleticism and works well in space. I actually think senat is gonna find a place in this league, he looked solid in the preseason, his pass set looked nfl ready, his footwork in general was just excellent. I don’t think he’s ever gonna be strong enough or low enough to play inside though

Forgot about Senat and I agree. He should be a good swing tackle for us for a while and will start somewhere someday.

i genuinely think he was making the 53 until he got injured - i think we liked the idea of having both a LT and RT backup on the 53 who we trust and would stop us from having to reshuffle if injuries happened

I thought he would make the 53 too. Too valuable having a natural LT and natural RT man both backup spots and senat was a big surprise to me, I thought he looked legitimately ready to be a backup if needed. The inside 3 spots are easier to swing players if they’re smart enough but the tackle spots still have some real physical prototypes, you need the length and agility to play in space and without it you’ll see some issues, and senat has both in spades.

I think he’s gotta get stronger though, no question there

I have been trying to think about what would be an in house solution to our running game issues. I am not 100 sure that it's our O-Line. It might be Alex Collins....

If Kenneth Dixon is ever going to be the guy for us he is going to have to prove it now. Is he back healthy yet?

He’s not back yet but if there’s a guy who can make it work with this Oline it’s Dixon. He’d be the starter by now if he didn’t get hurt at the end of week 1.

How long do they wait on Dixon before moving on. It's been 3 years right?

he can come back in week 9 if he's healthy by then - would be a serious consideration if the running game isnt working because his style of running is the kind of hard tackle-breaking style that could break open this running game

I don't get the infatuation with Dixon, he might be talented, but he's never healthy and is not going to save this run game. He's not that transandent of a player to do anything of that nature, even on the field he was a good player but I don't recall him being all that. At this point I just don't really care.

just another player that gets more hyped then he should.
