WR/RB Thread

Not sure where Perriman was today, but Maxx was injured last week and inactive.
I don't know where any one was at. I don't think it's fair to single him out because Wallace and Maclin didn't make an impact at all. That said, he needs to get involved because it's hurting his stock going forward.

I'm not singling him out, although it may sound like it. I just rarely saw him on the field

I know you're not, but I know some people will. I didn't see him get that much targets at all. The whole WR group just didn't impact the game at all, not even in the slightest.

I really need to see Maxx and Perriman out there more. Either they can play or they can't. Enough of having them sit out the side and "learn"

Their QB needs to get them the ball. 15 Yards overall for the receivers group. That's a struggling unit. Joe needs the play to develop and needs to throw it down field if it's there.

Joe does not look good out there, maybe his back is still hindering him.

Trade for Jimmy G? TRADE FOR JIMMY G

TRADE FOR JIMMY G

lmao smh

Joe said he wasn't a 100% about a week ago, but my issue is that his back hasn't shown that he can't thread the ball. It's the technical and mental aspects of his game that is falling behind.

Joe should go ahead and retire as a raven now too
No issues with the noble thought, but what happens to all that bonus money he's already pocketed?? Will he return that money? I doubt he'll retire for that very reason and I doubt we cut or trade him for the same exact reason.

no he gets to keep the front end bonuses and that dead money impacts our available funds. but if he suddenly retired it be almost like getting two 1sts or 1 1st and 1 2nd rounder for him

if he retires he costs the same - he'd probably have to give a little bit of his signing bonus back but that's it - it would be financially as bad a situation with the cap as if we cut him or traded him - we'd still be waiting for 2019/2020 for that dead money to clear - (and it wouldnt fully clear until the 2021 season)

Ok this stat just started a mini-freak out: the Ravens don't have a wr on pace for 500 yards this season...
Not surprising if you think about it. The early leads in Cincinnati and Cleveland skew the overall season performance because they only had 9 catches in the first two games. But the past two games the receivers struggled to get separation. It is the same thing every year. Watching every team in the NFL there is always a few plays where the receivers have a 5-10 yard step on the corner. I don't ever recall a time in Ravens history when this has been a thing. Blame Flacco all you want he is the quarterback he will get most the glory in wins and most the shit thrown at him in losses. But this entire offense in forever cannot live up to NFL standards and I'm not sure it ever will.

bobby engram is a terrible receivers coach. sss could do a better job coaching these guys imo

ANYBODY can do better than this. Maclin actually got OPEN on other teams. Wallace actually got OPEN on other teams. Steve Smith actually got OPEN on other teams.

I don't understand what other teams are doing that we can't do.
