WR/RB Thread

Its funny I am not sure if ANY of the first 6 teams except for maybe the Rams (but probably not) would change there pick from the 2016 draft. Its rare that you have so many consecutive hits that if you held it right now the players would go in the same order.
I tend to agree, but if the rams change their pick, it's quite possible the eagles don't trade up with the Browns, hence every pick could have changed.

No argument here, obviously.
Sad thing is, I'm sure plenty of ravens fans wish we got zeke instead. Danny D specifically, id love for him to come back so we can address his guarantee that Stanley would be a career failure by week 4.

A lot of people also wish we traded up for Ramsey too, now I'm not big on kaufusi who is the guy we ultimately would've traded away for Ramsey, but even straight up Ramsey for Stanley, wouldn't do it. With a big money qb you need a LT and there's no way around it. The ravens and chargers had the 2 best picks in the first round imo, talent, value, and fit wise.

He really said Stanley would be a failure by week 4? Lol. He was top 5 the second half of the season.

I guess he fired himself
Lol yeah he declared Stanley a bust immediately and said we got the lesser of the 3 tackles, that tunsil was already the best OT in the league and Stanley was too weak and slow to succeed and that the fan base would turn on Ozzie by week 4 because of the Stanley pick.

He used ozzies tendency to say "um" in press conferences as proof of him being too old to do his job and that he's decaying mentally.

And he always talked about Shakespeare and Ancient Rome and fine coffee.

He was rayrayraven with proper spelling and punctuation

Wanna point out how Wallace seems to have quite a presence in camp. He's making plays, he's getting loud, seems to be really close with perriman, he's letting people know when he beats them, he's got a lot of quality things to say in press conferences.

I loved when he beat jimmy to the end zone and gave him an earful, and jimmy took it playfully and gave him his props. Nice to see with a guy who's only been here a year

Real question is Carlos Hyde or Austin Howard. I don't think we could get both tbh.
We could if we signed him to a two year contract but I'd rather have Howard if we signed one. Howard had a down year last year and played ok with the raiders in 2015 as well as making a name for himself with the Jets.

I would love the Ravens to acquire Carlos Hyde. Anyone else on board with this

Heck yeah!! Hyde is a power back with cool slippery acceleration. He leaned out to a very lean 230lbs and says he feels faster than he was in college. Hyde is a more explosive stronger version of Terrance West. If OLine holds up and receiving weapons show up as advertised Hyde could be a 1500 yard back and a respectable receiver outlet. I'm intrigued how fast he is going to be. His instant acceleration was always good for a 240 lb runner that was a touch on the fleshy side. Now that he is in his best play shape faster and stronger than he ever was. Very interesting option say the least

Hyde could very well pull a Leveon Bell. Where he was fleshy coming out of college. And leaned out and became very explosive and moved far better to go with his power. Hyde was as good or better than Bell coming out. Hyde is in terrific shape now and could really break out. I would trade a round3 pick for Hyde

not sure what cap $$ is left after signing howard but i hope we make a run at ryan matthews when he is cut soon.
I personally dont. He has ball security issues and is a china doll.

He's good for 2-3 big games a year, but not worth it to put what little cap we may have remaining in a player you cant count on.... let alone a guy who hasnt been healthy in like 5 years.

He may be done for good. I dont really want Hyde either. At least not until we see that West cant carry the load. I dont even want to give whoever decides our RB personnel a chance to rotate a new guy in every 2-3 snaps. And i think given the opportunity to get 20 carries - West can be an above average starter... even top 12 type runner.

Buck can spell him from time to time, Zo can be our goal line short yardage guy if needed, and i think people are sleeping on Woodhead and how many touches he could get as a runner.

I cant see us, nor do i want us to go after a back unless West or Woodhead get injured.

So do Adeboyejo and White make the final 53? It would come at the cost of Camp and/or Moore depending on if one or both make it. I'd love for us to get rid of Camp

I find it really hard to believe Ozzie and co would give up a 2016 4th round pick in Moore for 2 UDFAs.
That being said, if we let white go for camp for the 53, I think im going to feel the same way I felt when we let go Terrence brooks in favor of that bum Kendrick Lewis.

I like Moore but its not like we would be replacing real production

i would be surprised if camp is not injured in the next week or so
