not according to Burrow. He claims they only beat themselves, therefor the Bengals are truly undefeated and already SB champs
Nonsense.

and beyond my original point, the jets are the ravens north, so technically the ravens are in the afc championship, and the ravens have already beaten the chiefs making them automatically afc champions.

the ravens are already in the super bowl.

KC is such a good team. I want to hate Mahomes so much but he’s such a good guy and he’s so fun to watch.

If only he had better choice in women and would disown his brother.

As much as it would suck to see the Bengals in the Super Bowl, these two reasons alone is why people should be rooting for the Bengals to beat the Chiefs.

So this tweet has some merit, but he also got a lot of push-back for his calculations and his point kind of missed the mark.

People that are taking their salary in bitcoin are playing the long-term game. I seriously doubt he took salary in bitcoin and then immediately sold it. My guess is he's sold none of it.

The value of that contract could be 10x what it is today down the road, or it could be worth nothing. That's the nature of taking payment in a non-cash-backed currency.

750k to Odell is well within his range of gambling money. Not sure it’s much of a cautionary tale if your in it for the long haul/invest what your willing to lose. At least for bitcoin. Idc what the blue chip stocks are doing , up or down, I’m throwing $500 a week at them until retirement.

Where’s Ravesmania , isn’t he the financial specialist to fix this market?

Never understood why anyone who isn't a millionaire wants to live there. Like I feel like sports agents just see playing in LA or NY as this big thing and don't realize they are costing their clients and themselves money due to the stupid high taxes. Like Trevor Lawrence should be thankful the Jets won more games and he got to go to Jacksonville where there is no income tax meaning he makes more than he would have if he was playing for the Jets in Jersey.

Right but that's also kind of irrelevant.

He is pointing out the fact that a lot of the public thinks its super brilliant to take your comp in crypto these days. He's right that thinking like that isn't super intelligent. Like investing in crypto is about the equivalent of taking most of your earnings and investing it restaurants, car dealerships, car washes, and all of the other bad investments that players make during and post-career. Its just as speculative, if not more-so.

If they're willing to take the risk and assume the downfalls, so be it. That's on them. But he's right that they certainly shouldn't be "praised" for it or viewed as like a financial genius because they're speculating in crypto.

Also willing to bet that if/when Odell signs another massive extension, he won't be taking all of it or even most of it in crypto. He's willing to take a million in crypto because, well, to him, that's not a lot.
