Why?Will be highly disappointed if it does at this point.
He can't have offered himself a high enough fee for the interview yet, and he's having trouble getting in touch with himself to sort it out.Wait wtf happened to Lamar's interview of himself
Glizzy GLADIATORS
Whole team of Joey Chestnuts
Poor roster construction. There's three quality pass catchers on the roster already, and the draft hasn't even happened yet. Why?
You’re fucking boringPoor roster construction. There's three quality pass catchers on the roster already, and the draft hasn't even happened yet.
Not to mention that the QB is on the franchise tag.
I can MAYBE get on board with it IF, and only IF, Lamar signs first. I have zero interest in committing to Hopkins or OBJ for a single season, and then trading Lamar away in March.
Not to mention that you'll have a QB, and three WRs, who have spent a large quantity of time on the sidelines the last two years or so. I'd rather have some younger receivers that will grow with whoever the QB is in the future.
He called his mom to book the interview with himself, and she replied that his schedule is too full.Wait wtf happened to Lamar's interview of himself
Neither is the "lets sign the aging, banged up veteran and hope he saves us". For every Boldin, there's a Maclin. For every Smith, there's a Crabtree. You’re fucking boring
Btw we’ve tried the “younger receivers” route and that ain’t all it’s cracked up to be either.

And this time it ain't "hey guys lets ship a 6th rounder for a veteran and pay him $5M a year" either.
Not to mention if trade Lamar in March, which looks about as likely a possibility as anything else with Lamar at the moment, Hopkins is getting shipped out the next day, and OBJ is playing elsewhere.
Yippeeeeeee
Completely agreealso this would 100% be instead of taking a WR early
too many mouths to feed/playing with more than 1 football is such a silly criticism too
teams need multiple weapons and we've got some notoriously unhealthy ones
not saying that OBJ or DHop are the perfect guys you bring in, but they're so much better than what we have and allow us to hot patch a position that gave us significant trouble last year
if this were a better WR draft then sure, go get another 1st round pick at WR
but bring in DHop, get a CB in R1 and this team is starting to look pretty scary
ill understand if they balk at the DHop contract numbers in the end (in terms of cap and massaging the cap) but it's hard to see a better way of addressing those 2 key spots with impact players than DHop + R1 CB
Okay so… Lamar traded in March, Beckham leaves in FA, we trade hop.Neither is the "lets sign the aging, banged up veteran and hope he saves us". For every Boldin, there's a Maclin. For every Smith, there's a Crabtree.

Also, if Lamar is traded and we're definitely going to go get a rookie QB, why are so certain we're trading Hopkins when the young QB will need him and also we'll have an extra 32-51 million dollarsOkay so… Lamar traded in March, Beckham leaves in FA, we trade hop.
Where’s the harm? Where’s the foul?
The wait might be over early in the 1st round, though. He can't have offered himself a high enough fee for the interview yet, and he's having trouble getting in touch with himself to sort it out.
At this point we'll probably have to wait till after the draft to see if there's any movement.
