The Random Thought Thread

I'm not trying to get them to be emotionally stable. I'm just trying to get them to have the self-awareness to understand they're douchebags and that booing strangers in a public setting is the pinnacle of their pathetic lives. And that nothing they say or do will change anything about what they're witnessing.
There's something off with you.

Really off.

I stopped going to games to avoid all fans a long time ago
Smart move. I have season tickets and sparingly go. In large part because many of the people you'll see at these games are some of the biggest piece of shit people walking the planet. There's groups of really quality human beings in there, but they're the minority for sure.
That and the fact that I can frequently sell my tickets for profit doesn't hurt either.

I have fun on the boards because I am behind a computer all day for work. I can tell you that a few years ago I went to a Ravens vs Dolphins game and two Ravens fans wanted to kill an old Dolphins fan. Everyone was drunk.

I am good on that. I don't want to hear someone who clearly doesn't watch games or understands how things even work. Just pure tribal madness lol.

I'd much rather watch at home or maybe, MAYBE a bar

I think a lot of NFL fans make as much of tailgating as they do the game and are pretty toasted by the time they enter the stadium. Not an issue for some, but a problem for many.

I don't like being surrounded by people who can't control themselves which in my experience is most people regardless what jersey I am wearing

Yep. Went to Minnesota this year and 99.9% of the people were as nice as could be. Didn't stop that one drunk asshole from progressively getting worse all game. He was talking shit on his way out and was so gone that he couldn't do that and walk. Fell down the steps - pushed me into a railing and fell on my wife's ankle. Still likely going to do my 1 away game each year but I'm become less and less interested in going to games just because people suck.

It's hilarious how Harbaugh said both Vorhees and Faalele were inconsistent in pass blocking but said Emery Jones hasn't done enough to take reps from them lol. Like holy hell, how bad is Emery Jones if he can't beat either of them?
I don't think he's "bad" in the traditional sense. He's learning a new position and has only been practicing at it for a few weeks. I'd say he's much more not ready than bad. I only noted 2 positive snaps out of his 16 against the Bengals. He quite simply just looked like a rookie learning a new position. The upside is much higher going forward though.

Could have easily slid him at RG for at least a full series.

So if not Emory, then Cleveland. If Ben Cleveland is really worse than Fa'alele, why hasn't he shown that on an NFL field when he's been in? He's no star, or even a starter, but at least he faces the right way most of the time and sometimes, he even blocks people too.

League some real assholes for this move...

Just wanted to watch us lose in peace at 1
Kind of why I hope the Steelers win the division before Week 18 at this rate. I can peacefully watch the rest of the games with no stress. If we are still in it, and I have to wait until Sunday Night in Week 18 just for us to lose....
