The Random Thought Thread

They didn't have tg he players to really support Peters risky style so it was a massive performance upgrade.
Sounds like a dean pees situation. We leave Peters on an island constantly and with far less pass rush talent than the rams have.

Sounds to me like the rams are a problem rather than Peters, maybe pay Peters his worth and use those first rounders to support the secondary.

Really idk what the hell theyre doing, their cap is about to be a complete mess, with Goff, gurley, and Donald’s contracts and now Ramsey’s contracts, they won’t be able to pay ANYONE, and hilariously 2 of those 4 mega deals aren’t gonna be producing much and they won’t have the draft picks to supply themselves with cheap talent. I’m willing to bet that by the time the rams are picking in the first round again, it’ll be in the top 10.

Smart method to upgrade from a pro bowl corner to an arguably slightly better pro bowl corner by spending 2 first rounders trolllolol

I'm thankful for it. If I knew when we were trying to trade for Ramsey we could get Peters for Young and a 5th that would have been my first option. The Rams are building their team like a kid playing Madden with no understanding of the salary cap. Gurley, unfortunately, looks done and I never trusted Goff.

Agreed on all fronts lol. Ravens fans thought the post super bowl era was poorly handled, goddamn wait til they see what the rams do. At least we had a chance at finding players in the first round lol.

the Rams do have a good coach, I just hate that he is being handicapped with not only trading away all the 1st round picks, but Goff is holding the Rams back as well.

Booger McFarland needs to go...

“Philip Rivers doing a masterful job, controlling the game- throwing the ball, setting up the run. It’s nice to watch a hall of famer work tonight.” - Booger McFarland, three snaps after Rivers threw a pick, one snap before he threw a pick.

“Deshaun Watson is the superior QB. He can actually drop back and use his arm to propel the football down the field in a positive direction unlike Lamar Jackson.”@ClayTravis on why he’s taking the Texans to win outright

Following the game when Lamar significantly outplayed Deshaun Watson, Clicks For Clay elevated the Ravens QB from 9th to 8th in the MVP race and then goes on to compare him to RGIII, Tim Tebow, Vince Young and others who quickly faded from the spotlight.

“I will give Lamar Jackson some credit. I am bumping him up to 8th in my current MVP standings from 9th last week.” —

Guys like this are total idiots. I mean, first off, if you think that Lamar is going to be a one-year wonder (well, he was pretty wonderful last year, too) because he's going to get maimed and his career will be over ... that's a completely separate topic from whether or not he is performing right now at a level that is the primary reason why his team is elevated to the top 3 in power rankings and is therefore worthy of MVP consideration.

As I've said and have heard said by others in the media - if you don't have Jackson in your top 5 for MVP consideration (and this was BEFORE the dismantling of the Texans) then you are clearly someone who predicted he will fail and just cant come to grips with the fact that you were wrong.
