I highly doubt its in ramsey range. I think more 70 millionish like white
Agree. If Marlon wants like $21-22M a year, I think we'll let him walk quite honestly.

I can see him around $17-18M per if he signs next offseason, or potentially $18-19M the year after.

I would think something like 4 years, $75M, with $50M guaranteed.

I agree. Marlon won’t get close to that, and if he wants that kind of money and won’t settle for less, we might have to explore a trade (which I don’t want at all, but we have Lamar and Ronnie coming up soon).

the rams were over the cap and just extended ramsey - they must have backloaded the hell out of that deal to get them out of cap trouble

its almost such a ridiculous deal that i think we can ignore it with regards to marlon - how on earth he managed to get that much money is ridiculous lol

He was due $13.7 million this year, so its likely they converted some of that into a bonus as part of the extension and pushed it into future years.

His cap hit is probably a couple million lower this year, but yes, it'll be very high in future years. Will probably be north of 25M on the back-end.

Same stupid deal as the Texans made with Tunsil. Give up a shit load of draft captial and then overpay, if you are going to go retard, always go full retard.

the price of not negotiating a new contract when you do the trade seems to be especially exorbitant - when you give up those picks you've got to make sure you do the deal right then and there or you'll pay for it later

Between Lamar, Humphrey, and Stanley we'll need $100M just for them. The rest divided up by the remaining 50.

No way they all go for that much. Lamar 40-45, Stanley 20-25, Humphrey 15-20. In total that's anywhere between 75-90 mil, hopefully on the lower end. We still need to pay Andrews 10-15, Orlando 15-20, and Hollywood 10-15. There's not going to be enough money to go around for all of those players and I am interested to see who DeCosta values the most.

This Sunday, there will be a Ravens game, a Tour de France stage and a Formula One race. That's the first time in history all three have happened on the same day. For me, it's the Holy Trinity of sports.

Honestly I hope we find a way to keep all of those guys.

1. I don't think we're anywhere close to be deciding the range for Hollywood. He's one season of generally average production in.
2. They'll never pay two Tackles elite money at the same time, and since Stanley is first (and more valuable), I have pretty much always assumed that Orlando will be playing elsewhere after his rookie deal. We've got a pretty good track record of drafting and developing RT's, and I think they're much easier to find.
He, to me, fits the Rick Wagner prototype (although he's better) of "guy we'd like to keep but can't afford".

Not super concerned about the others. The timing of the deal's aren't simultaneous, and we won't have any expensive defensive players on the roster at that point, so I don't see with a $200-250M salary cap why we couldn't afford those players. Just a question of how well we draft defensively.
