The Random Thought Thread

The Ravens were not in the positon to draft Joe Mixon even if they wanted to. The Ray Rice situation is because of that. Its easy for you or even me to say as fans that The Ravens should have drafted Joe Mixon anyway base on his talent as a football player but neither you or me are putting up millions of dollars for such players in the draft.lets not even talk about how upset some fans would be but lets look at this at a pure business standpoint. The Ravens could lose partnerships with other organizations alone just by drafting Joe Mixon. Im talking about a company like Under Armour and more. Its bigger than just winning games.

A organization has a PR staff for a reason and theres no way The Ravens could make it look good by explianing why they drafted Joe Mixon. I miss Ray Rice but im againat domestic violence and I respect The Ravens stance against it.
And I find it somewhat appalling that Mixon has been given a free pass on his actions, simply because they took place before he was an NFL player. I would have been pretty upset if we'd have drafted him.

I hate living in the past when it comes to picks. I trust the general consensus that we have here when it comes to picks.

Jaylon Smith, Myles Jack, JuJu, and Jay Ajayi just to name a few.

Its really easy to look back on picks and think the team should have done things differently. Anybody with a time machine could build an all-pro team in 2 drafts probably.

Yeah, every single team in the nfl has tons of misses. It’s just how it is. It’s just sometimes teams make seriously head scratching picks that you just have to think wtf were they thinking lol

one of boys got recruited to play on the NO team that eventually won the million dollar tourney. Really 3 of them did but the other was in jail

I’ve heard about that. The dude in my team was in the NFL before he played flag. I think he went to Syracuse

And you know what I mean. Some of the dumbest stories continue to come out of Florida.

You seen the story about the couple selling drugs out of their trailer? They didnt like the traffic coming in and out of their place so... tthey built drive thru at a window on it. Plenty more gems where that came from.

Ok but that drive thru window is one of the most bad ass things ever lmao

Shit decisions by the FO. I recently went thru the drafts from 13-18 and it's goddam disgusting who we didn't pull the OBVIOUS trigger on at times.

In other news... Teryl Austin was let go. JS

A litle funny that half a season of poor play and injuries and he's out the door, but Lewis still has a job.

Who do you think the obvious misses were?
