A key take away that’s amazingly simple and defines the success of what the Chief’s are doing, Create space.......I found this interesting in that you can draw an analogy to the basic concept of offense in soccer. Use formations(triangles) and motion to create space to work from. The Chiefs “send someone in pre snap motion more often than they don’t”. “.....two most dangerous pass catchers dart all over the formation creating endless possibilities”. Use horizontal motion to “befuddle defenses”. Of course Reid has what seems to be a once in a generation talent in Mahomes to work with, and they also invested heavily surrounding him with a stable of fast and talented weapons that brings it together. Assembling those weapons seems to have come at the expense of the defense, but if they can at the least become consistently adequate on that side of the ball they will be tough to stop for the foreseeable future.
