The Random Thought Thread

So I haven’t been as active as I used to be but I’ll try to change that.

But I had to post about this because it honestly needs to be heard by somebody. Sam Koch is probably the most underrated player in the league. And maybe even one of the most underrated of all time.

I came to this conclusion watching the best coffin corner kicks of all time video on nfl.com. If you watch he is like 20% of the highlights and most kickers are only in there once besides him. He had multiple, probably 7 or 8 if not more in that 10 minute video.

It is ridiculous that he has not made more pro bowls and honestly the Ravens have the best kicker and punter hands down no contest.

Sam Koch probably wins us so many games that we don’t even realize lol. Like if we had a league average punter I think you could legitimately scratch a win or 2 off of our yearly record, he complements this team so well, field position, rushing, and defense, flipping the field consistently and pinning teams inside the 10 at a ridiculous rate is way more crucial for a team like this than people might realize

Koch is also a good Holder and Morgan Cox a great Long Snaper. I don't remember any long snap/holding errors. Hands down the best trio in the league!
