Why would he settle for what ZDS got when its a year later and his year is going better? Inflation alone means the ZDS deal would already be 16.5-17m and he is playing better. I would guess maybe between 18m and 19m but every week he makes himself a little richer.
That's why I gave it a range. There is also more free agent pass rushers this year than last year that could be available in free agency. Anyway, I agree with you, he will end up getting more, but one thing to consider, most of his sacks are coverage sacks. He's also had a pretty big uptick since Peters was signed.
im looking at the edge rusher contracts atm and i think you're probably right that he smashes ZDS's deal...

it helps that there's some potential other options on the market this year but i cant foresee him getting less than dee ford

I've actually come to like this schedule. Although we don't have a bunch of home games b2b or so. We also don't have to travel two or three times in a row.

Last time I remember a team doing this was the 2012 Falcons who started their season on the road too.

he wasnt much of a receiver in college (in terms of usage) and hasnt shown a real knack for it yet in the pros

I’m standing strong on my non desire to sign Judon until I see what he does in the playoffs.
He is nonexistent for half the season and he did it in a contract year so I’m just worried he’s always gonna be that guy
He started the season this year with a few sacks, then disappeared until we signed Peters.

This type of schedule has grown on me as well. I actually think that it helped our players as well because they have won on the road more with this type of schedule than in previous seasons with the other types of scheduling (i.e. back to back home games etc.).
