Salary Cap could fall by 10s of millions of dollars due to covid and loss of revenue.

Falcons, Saints and Eagles might find it literally impossible to comply with the salary cap next year if it goes down at all let alone by 10s of millions

if it went down by even 10m the steelers, texans and bears would potentially struggle to do anything next offseason except add their draft classes

`120ptrewop[. they should find a way to get around that or as the article says, massage it a bit.

they might but it would end up screwing over those teams salary caps for the next 3-4 years

and would screw over any free agents in 2021... the players wont want that sort of loss

my guess is the union and owners collectively bargain to artificially elevate the cap and basically borrow against any future cap increases

the one benefit for the ravens if the cap does go down next offseason is it means that mahomes etc. arent likely to be extended when they would have been previously - would give us a chance to get lamar's contract done first (if we wanted to)

that's what I meant to massage it a bit. I wasn't referring to restructuring.

I cannot imagine how teams could possibly get under a 140 to 150 million dollar cap. On the other hand if they have to borrow to keep the cap at the level it is now, that would basically create problems with the current NFL market of having a new highest paid player every year because the cap just will not support it.

Fair enough if Wales is like MTV portrayed it in the valleys (tv series).

the bit of wales we were in at the time was far more remote than cardiff - we literally had to drive 40 minutes to get to the bowling alley from where we were staying

No problem - Steelers will just restructure their entire roster, they do that anyway.

You know I was watching the TD throw by Lamar again to Andrews in the last Brown game and I have never seen a team deflate like the Browns did after that TD at the end of the first half.
I actually got up ,walked around and was muttering I have never seen a QB destroy the will of a team that was playing hard like that.
An incredible throw .

he threw it on 1 leg with his body completely twisted... and if he gets sacked the half is over... outrageous situational throw

lamar made some amazing throws last year but that might be the most special one
