Can never wrap my head around why people always say our offense got "figured out" after one bad game all year (maybe 2 with Browns). If that's the case then pretty much every NFL offense must have been figured out multiple times over.

They also said our offense got exposed last year. I'm sick and tired of it, why can't they provide reasonable arguments why our offense might regress and it could be as simple as regression toward the mean.

I was just gonna say what CDP said, our offense was supposed to be figured out after the Chargers playoff game. To any hater reading this, please explain why our offense wasn't figured out. What is taking so long? We demand answers!

The first time somebody beats us, our offense is figured out. If that were the case, then only 16-0 teams will continue to be 16-0 in perpetuity. Once they lose their first game, their offense is figured out and hence they suck. This street logic is so fucking infantile, I have to go throw up. Excuse me!

it's also clear what we were doing offensively after like 4 weeks (maybe 5-6 weeks at a push if you're being kind to our opponents) - so this idea that defences had no idea what we were doing was ridiculous and that any team will magically solve lamar and the offence next year is the same stuff they said last year before he set everything on fire

It was such a weird time for me. When Flacco went down, I knew our season was over, so I could just watch our games and enjoy them because I knew we would lose. First time being a Ravens fan and simply not caring about the remainder of a season lol

Its going to be difficult for Lamar to replicate or improve on last seasons stats and heroics, but to me thats not as important as making the postseason again and winning games. If he throws 20 TDs and we win 12 games then thats a successful regular season.

There are also a lot of narratives working against Lamar, hes an easy target because he plays for an unpopular, small market team and dominates with a style that isn't the "norm". Fuck em all I say.

the ryan mallett ravens were oddly fun lol - no expectations and we still got to beat the steelers and get ourselves a top draft pick that turned into the best LT in the league

I remember laughing and shaking my head when will hill didn’t know his place and returned that blocked kick, son of a bitch made us miss out on Ramsey and bosa, at least that was my thought at the time, now I think we walked away with the best player in that class
