I feel like every team has a powerup that lowers the speed of our blitzers when we run a Cover 0. Wink needs to blitz every snap. Doesn't have to be an Engage Eight (he's a pussy if he don't) but anything blitz related. This shit had me on the floor

why the hell would we cut Zeitler, who has been a good player for us. Also regarding AV, I said we would have 3.25 dead cap dead cap by cutting AV in my initial reply to you. This design of this contract just shows it was designed to be a one year contract, but to save a bit of cap by stretching out the guaranteed money over a two year period. If you cut them both, you don't save cap, you have to pay 3 million something to Villanueva and 11 to Zeitler.
In other words, we cut them and we still continue to pay them.
so I see the cap
yes, we save 6m by cutting. him next year, while leaving 3.25m in dead cap.Dont we save 6 mil cutting AV next year?
Roman > wink and you can’t convince me otherwise. Straight up. It’s not even close imo. Roman adjusts, wink doesn’t.Dont we save 6 mil cutting AV next year?
@Dom McRaven sick of us sending our best cover corners on blitzes and dropping our best rushers into fucking coverage to still get not a goddam ounce of fucking pressure. All this while seeing pass rushers most assumed weren't great go on to have incredible fucking success.
Roman > wink and you can’t convince me otherwise. Straight up. It’s not even close imo. Roman adjusts, wink doesn’t.
it's simple, have you seen the ol 'giants? They left him free, they did not want to renew him.
Have you seen the contract AV had with the Steelers, and his substitute? they set him free.
watching them play you can understand why.
The best thing Zeitler does is touch Bozeman's leg to get the ball out on time.
dalessandris is following the example of the castle, a lot of name but the ol getting worse and worse.
it's time they hire a serious OL specialist, because we're getting worse and worse.
If you don’t think he adjusts, then have you paid attention this season? We went to a pass first offense and it worked it’s ass off until mekari went down and Lamar regressed, the schemes not perfect but he had absolutely adjusted and it’s paid dividends. It’s not his job to develop Lamar, it’s his job to build a playbook and he’s built one with limited tools to execute itsMajorly disagree. Like I don't think I can disagree with this one more. Both are disappointing for sure, but Roman is the one who lets us down in the playoffs consistently, over and over again. Can't develop Lamar. Can't design a good passing scheme. Can't get rid of his boneheaded plays/strategies. Is very hard headed to the point of frustrating failures. Doesn't adjust (I don't even know how you think he does to be honest)
the giant let Zeitler go because they couldn't afford to pay him. He was the best player on their line and yes, it was a bad line, so that's not saying much. I've watched Zeitler a lot this year and he has been much more than solid and his pass blocking has been above average. We are going to have to agree to disagree with this one.it's simple, have you seen the ol 'giants? They left him free, they did not want to renew him.

both coordinators were dealt a similar hand and only one of them changed the fundamentals of their playbook. Wink continued to throw the blitz despite getting torched time and time again, yeah the players weren’t executing it, but maybe it’s because you simply haven’t adjusted to the loss of talent. Roman did adjust, and then Lamar regressed, that’s on the OL and Lamar, not Roman, the defense collapsing on late possessions for big explosive plays is largely on wink and his stubbornness with pressure all 4 quarters with players who have proven time and time again they aren’t capable, pass rushers leaving here and having pro bowl seasons, pro bowl pass rushers coming here and doing jack shit, time and time again, is on wink.
This is a bit off base, the ravens have invested ONE big investment in the OL with Stanley, and it took a 5-11 season to get him. Aside from that, they’ve invested three third round picks, one who demanded a trade, one who is a rookie, and one who is playing out of position as a necessity, and they’ve invested a fourth and a sixth, with one mid tier free agent signing and the only one making real money being on IR for his second straight year, and a HOF RG retiring.it's simple, have you seen the ol 'giants? I'd agree actually here, I mean there was a reason Wink had the worst defense in the NFL when he was DC of the Broncos. Given a similar hand with all the injuries, he looks like that coordinator out there. So you may actually be right. I'm just fed up with Roman is all.
I will speak to what I said before on the record... we will never win a Super Bowl with Roman as the OC.

the ravens have invested very poorly in the OL and Joe D has done well with what he’s been given. We’re lucky to have him because he actually made a player out of skura before the injury, he’s made a replacement level player out of powers who didn’t look like an NFL caliber guy to me as a rookie, he developed Jensen, hurst, Bozeman, OBJ, and of course stanley.
the ravens need to take the OL more seriously on draft day, the same way we took receivers in round 1 2/3 years, we gotta do the same. It can’t be an afterthought.
Gotta invest in the trenches this year, whether that's FA or the draft. OL and DL should be the top priorities, with some eye toward a playmaking S if one exists. Need to address all 3 levels on D as well, although some are more depth concerns than anything. But OL should be a top priority and it'll be really tough to give a pass if they skip up on some guys like they have the past 2 years in favor of mid round depth shots.
